It means that the eye with which you see God is the same eye with which he sees you, in short, a secret that protects itself. You might say as well as a million other things that is that conscious that is aware only of love.what is god conscious?

Regardless of your beliefs or, lack thereof, how's ignoring the actions of those who believe working out for you? It's a mistake to debate Christians about theology because there are literally as many Christianities as there are Christians. They're all made up, ad-hoc to fig leaf for the believer's prejudices.
The alleged actions and alleged desires of putative gods are irrelevant until the existence of any such god can first be established, and to date no such feat has been accomplished.

And my point was you can argue about the existence of God all you like but, you cannot argue the effect that those who believe have on the world for good or ill.He was talking about gods, not believers in gods.

I think the number of those who believe and their impact on the world is an order of magnitude greater than the damaged folks you're desperately trying to equate them to. Why so angry? God loves you.And you can't argue the effect that dangerous schizophrenics have on the world for good or ill. And you can't argue the effect that drunk drivers have on the world for good or ill. And you can't argue the effect that megalomaniac school hallway monitors have on the world for good or ill. What's your freaking point? That delusional freaks who believe an invisible man in the sky is directing their actions are people? Wow! Thanks, very insightful.

The problem with religious people is that they believe that because God or whomever is the highest moral being, their understanding of that that being sees as moral is identical with what they see as moral. The result is fanatical evil, believing that what you do is absolutely right when it may be just bull shit, what the person's sick ego may want and not what God wants.
The problem with atheists is that they can be just as fanatical that God does not exist with the result that their moral beliefs can potentially be anything, unconstrained even by traditional religious wisdom. They can fearlessly also believe, like many Christians, that what they believe is ultimate morality.
Some do have amusing answers if you question their beliefs. I remember many years ago, I forget the convo but a guy saying how I was going to be stuck in limbo and he was going to have all this gold and a mansion..etc. and I'm like, what are you gonna do with gold if you're dead dumbass? If heaven has an exchange economy then wtf was the point? lol. They do have an answer to everything you can imagine though, no matter how silly, it's amazing.
I mean I keep an open mind to any possibilities but some just defy any rational logic whatsoever as if it's a cartoon world.
ROFLMAO!! I love to watch nerves get struck and cause such painful twitches.
Atheists understand why there is shit in the world, people are scumbags and scumbags make it that way. It's you delusional wannabelievers who look at the shit in the world and believe it's because an omnipotent being wants it that way.
And how do you calculate the good believers have done? Regardless, my point is STILL that the effect of believers on the world is not open for debate so, hiding behind a philosophical argument about the existence of God is irrelevant.religion and resources are the 2 reasons people wage war. 50% of the reason for war isnt full of good people.

You see what you want to see.I think the number of those who believe and their impact on the world is an order of magnitude greater than the damaged folks you're desperately trying to equate them to. Why so angry? God loves you.
Actually most atheists aren't so judgemental and bigoted. They don't pretend they have the answers nor are so bigited as many round these parts seem to be and accept that many people think and feel differently and that makes them different, but that's about all. Frankly you have no idea what I make of the world or the reasons it is this way. I to do not blame god for it. I blame those who think they are inherently better for their ignorance of others or disregard based on beliefs or color or any such thing. YMMV, obviously.
I'm sorry your version of reality is limited to what you can point at. It's sad and self deceiving to reduce the total of human existence and it's gamut of emotions to the chemical and electrical functions of the body. You see what you want to see.
I do not agree that people acting upon ideas without basis in reality are a net positive for society.
Thank you for your concern, but disparaging me isn't going to elevate any of the absurdities believed by the likes of you. I hope it makes you feel better, though. That's what's really important, isn't it?I'm sorry your version of reality is limited to what you can point at. That doesn't apply to youtube atheists who can be very cruel and judgmental. I don't believe people lose their fear and distrust of the other simply because they don't believe in God. The fear and distrust of the other is an evolved trait which kept us from extinction.
Stunning self-awareness on displayWhat a wretched thread. People like the OP make it all the more difficult for the rest of us atheists who don't want to be seen as condescending assholes.
