Not a single time in this thread have transgender people been referred to as predators.

Where did you get this idea from?

Would you be comfortable seeing a man go into the ladies bathroom right behind your daughter?

The way you want things he:

Would not only have to be allowed to, but be FORCED to go in behind your daughter.

It takes more than claiming to be transgender to be diagnosed transgender. You've been told this multiple times.

Oh noes! someone might be embarrassed. It always harkens back to civil rights doesn't it? No, you can't oppress people just because you're uncomfortable.

Are you actually equally comparing the color of ones skin to ones genitalia? Someone is a child according to this legislation. You're completely OK with a child being exposed to this?

No one is talking about anyone being exposed to genitalia. (yea I know what you actually meant, but it's silly)

It wouldn't bother me in the least. What the hell is he going to do with me right outside? For christ's sake, get a grip. In general, people don't rape kids in public restrooms. The chances of getting away with it are about ZERO PERCENT!!!!!

Does it have a penis or a vagina?

If it has a vagina, I would not what that abomination behind anything.
If it has a penis, then it should be in the boys bathroom, and not behind a daughter at all.

Why is this silly? It's OK for a four year old little girl to regularly see an eight graders wanger? That's what this law would allow. I'm not sure how one urinates or shits without dropping the pants or pulling up the dress.

Keep in mind the link in the opening post is about school bathrooms, which you are not going to be standing outside of.

From a quick google search,

and these things happened by non-transgendered people without this law in place. Lets see the rampant rape that occurs due to trans being allowed in the proper bathrooms after this law is passed.

I'm willing to guess the student trans population is less likely to rape (although probably much more likely to be raped (all the more reason to keep them out of boys rooms by your logic)) than the general population especially if they're on anti-androgens to delay puberty.

Well, there is more that happens in bathrooms than relieving one's self. Some bathrooms are also tied to showers and such. Your stance is a bit simplistic.

I think the linked article in the opening post referred to gym areas? Chances are a school gym is going to have an attached shower.

I can see some high school boy saying he is transgender just to take a shower with his girlfriend, who just also happens to be his lesbian lover.

The State of California has nothing better to legislate?

I think California is running out of stuff to make laws about.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Nice quote but how do you measure the potential harm to all parties involved as mentioned before.

Additionally that quote works best if there is absolutely no prejudices regarding the issue... which is almost certainly not the case.

If there is a private faculty bathroom on the grounds I'd just let the student in question use that one but maybe that's not a solution either for whatever reason.

If they say bathrooms, I take their word they mean bathrooms. If they mean public showers that's different, but I'd need to hear it specified to believe it.

It's something that's increasingly becoming an issue across the country so yea it's a good time to make a law about it. Unlike the mystical trans-poser molesters that don't actually exist, tran people do get victimized, ostracized and oppressed so laws protecting them can be sensible.

I think that's sensible although recent trials that was fought against and won by the trans student. It basically lead to them being singled out and ostracized for it.

What exactly happens to a little girl who sees a boy's "wanger"? Does she melt or something? At what age does this become a problem? I only ask because my 16mo daughter sees a 3yo boy's "wanger" every once in awhile at daycare and I need to know when it is going to become dangerous.

Yea, hours of therapy and the social status of transgender so he can take a shower with his girlfriend.

If people do not have to show identification to vote, why should they have to show paper work proving they are transgender?

It's a school. They tend to do things a little different there. When you say you have a medical condition they set up plans with your parents to deal with it while you're attending.
