The computer was the best thing that happened to me when it came to schoolwork. I could type much faster than I could write, and no one could ever claim they couldn't read it.

I would have liked to show you an example, but this forum doesn't agree. Basically, it's joining of letters, so they appear italic. How it turns out (i.e., how legible or nice it is) is different depending upon the individual. Doctors for instance tend to have cursive writing, but they aren't really legible.
Re. original post: I wish I had cursive writing. My handwriting really sucks. I would prefer cursive over my handwriting. I couldn't even have the nice handwriting of many students.
