youll use dial-up, wait 5 min. for an ad to load up, and then quickly be calling the cable company saying you may have made a mistake.

we all float down here georgie, we all float...

edit: (whoops, wrong forum.. meant to use the last comment in the Stephen Kings "IT" forum) :D

Personally, I just want an OC3 or better wired into an IV on my arm :) just like the Lawnmower Man.

Me thinks his monthly rate would have been cheaper if he had owned his own cable modem. ;)
Actually, and this is I'm sure different for most people, Roadrunner charges a modem rental fee of $5 regardless of wether you own the modem or not

true. i pay $40/month, and have a dial-up isp (work for a local 1, free service), and i still pay the monthly fee for cable. some things i just cant give up. i promised myself i would shoot myself in the foot first before reverting back to dial-up.

This one's for me (/me drinks from my 40oz St. Ides Malt Liquor), and this one's for my homie's cable modem (/me pours out rest of 40 on grave site memorializing the broadband cable modem).

Lol,another sarcastic line obviously wasted here:)

All things considered though,I can't stand dial up.Web sites using flash and such take forever to load and forgetting d/loading music or OS updates,it takes forever.

Considering RoadRunner is part of AOL-Time Warner, I'm not all that surprised. :(

You will soon find that when a woman has all the sex that she ever wants she gets married. I feel for you.

I'm on dial up with a gf. Not so bothered at all. Don't even at a net connection in my room at Uni. Not so bad.

I'll get cable when I finish for the year though.

Wish me luck, say a prayer, or pour out a 40 oz. This is going to be rough, this break-up.
Good for you! There is actually a real world out there with real people and stuff. You know, the world that all that content on the internet refers to?

Go get it!
