I don't think rape is always about power and abuse. You can't tell me that every now and then there isn't a guy who just wants some.

Anyway, unless there is a plethora of physical signs that point to rape (ie. severe cuts, bruising, vaginal trauma, torn clothing, etc) this case is over. The DA will lose and he knows it. First because of the suicide obviously. And second because of the fact that she's been reported as an NBA groupie. Let's keep in mind also that it wasn't some crappy little website that reported that, it was Newsweek. No way they're running that unless they have some serious evidence to back it up. Evidence that the defense would easily find.

So, at least we can be confident that justice will be served on way or another because if he did it there should be plenty of physical proof to convict him and if he didn't rape her there's absolutely no way the DA would get a conviction considering the character of the alleged victim, since character is what a "he said she said" type trial comes down to.
