Not looking good for watson at all, at best he can par 17 getting up and down from maybe 120. Cink will most likely birdie to give two stroke lead.
And that should just about do it for watson. 🙁

All majors really should go to the US open playoff format (18 holes the next day).

No, the Masters and US Open should go to the British Open/PGA playoff format.

Other than the ridiculous US Open can you name a single sporting event on earth where they ignore the cameras, the crowds and the millions of people watching at home and decide to settle ties the next day when everybody is in work? Just one. I dare ya.
Seriously, can you imagine the riots that would occur if a Super Bowl ended in a tie and they decided to come back Monday morning? How satisfying would Wimbledon have been if Roddick and Federer left the court after 6-6 in the 5th set and finished it on Monday. A Monday playoff is the worst idea in the history of sports, that's why every other organization with an IQ over 1 has abandoned the idea and come up with a way to settle things while everyone is there. Hell, even the USGA admitted that Monday playoffs suck and have dropped them from ALL of their championships except the men's US Open. The women and the seniors both settle it on Sunday, only the men come back the next day.

We're talking about major golf here (not football), and this is the second time this year the player who played the best throughout the tournament has lost because they weren't given a chance to physically and mentally recover from their round (to a player who was given a chance to do so).
Settling majors soley to please the crowd is horseshit.

Currently Tom Watson is undergoing an endoscopy at St. Andrews Memorial Hospital to see what temporarily caused blockage in his throat on the 18th hole. More at 11.
