They need a WALL. At least 40 feet tall, with 40 feet sunk in the ground. An identical wall about 100 feet away with a minefield in between the two walls. Razor wire all around....guard towers every so often. And it needs to stretch the ENTIRE border of US/Mexico.

We ALSO need the same thing running the entire border of US/Canada.

Our borders are waaaaay too open and easy for terrorists to get in. It's time to lock them down good.

so i suppose in order to fix this so called problem there needs many more things to be done, than just building a fence. for starters i think a better bracero law should be enacted.

even if there were an abundance of teens willing to work for min wage and doing far more labor than you would at say a mcdonalds. they wont stay there for long or are only part time, these guys need someone who is there morning till night year round.

How much would a product cost if you doubled the pay for labor? Pick whatever product you like.

What percentage of farm labor is provided by illegals?

1. last 3 years i have driven combines, some farmers helped us by providing truck drivers or grain cart operators. my proof is in my website, there is also a video taken by myself driving a combine during corn harvest.

2. as it is a farmer typically gets around 2cents out of every loaf of bread sold. i think the last loaf of bread i bought was around 2.50 or so. i would be willing to pay 50 cents to a dollor more to help the economy.

3. i dont know that answer but i can verify that in 80% of farmers ive dealt with south of nebraska have at least one person from a different country doing the harder labor.
