I bear no ill-will toward homosexuals. I want to help them either become straight, or help them have the strength to remain chaste. Stop putting words in my mouth.

Ill stop putting words in your mouth the day you stop calling male and femaile relationships "gay", and when you start learning that everyone does not believe the same things you do. More importantsly that these diffrences are OK.

Except lust is a sin. Sinners must purge themselves of sins before they can enter paradise. It is not 'OK', infact it is very dangerous.

Will you at least agree it is ok for people that do not believe in god to view the world however they please?
Before the bible there were other books that stated people had walked with gods. Christianity is just the newest form of western based religion. Did you know that the bible was compiled by a known pagan? If christmas is for Jebus birth, why considering he was born in a diffrent month?
Can you answer these questions for me?

Well, I'm wondering, if it's okay to have sex with your wife even if conception is impossible, why is it wrong to have sex with a member of the opposite sex if both love each other? I'd also like to know, given the "artificial elements" argument, which parts of the body are considered artificial? And where in the Bible it is described which specific parts are artificial?

3) No it wasn't. I don't know.

So now the question is, what is lust? You said earlier in this thread that homosexuality was not okay because lust is a sin. So I'm wondering how having sex with your pregnant wife, who is at the time unable to conceive, is any different from having sex with someone of the same gender if you are both in love?

I'm sorry but I don't believe in your twisted view of religion. And again his parents don't have a right to enforce their views onto him with mental torture with the excuse of god fearing.

Just because you don't believe it doesn't mean that you are immune from the eternal torture that awaits your soul.

LOL. Want to take bets on who burns in hell first? Those who assume to speak for God and His will will be at the very front of the line. You might even be able to take cuts all the way to the front.

If he is genuinely homosexual, then I would hold him to the same standards I hold heterosexual people to. Chastity until marriage, but in his case, chastity for life, unless he takes a wife.

Reversing roles for a second,

How would you feel if a gay person told you no sex unless it's with another man?

If such was the will of God, I would remain a virgin until I die.

Yes, I do. I have learned about homosexuality from the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I know why there are homosexuals, and I know how to deal with them. Do you have a clue what you are talking about?

Yes, learn about a group from a another group that doesn't like them! What a fair and unbiased source of information! This makes you the grand master of all knowledge about this group of people.

Out of curiosity, based upon what you have learned, why are they homosexual?

They are homosexual because they are misguided.

God gave us free will, and as man is inperfect, free will has led to murderers, rapists, and homosexuals. But all of them can be saved.

What i mean by the seccond is that you have no proof that the bible is in any way more right then any of thoughs books do you. Using logic, there is no real reason to believe one over the other besides prefrence.
3)Constantine was a pagon.

Well let's hope the archdiocese of your area doesn't make the fatal mistake of allowing a hate monger such as yourself into the priesthood.

I don't really care if they do. I have nearly all the powers, and I am making quite a sum of money in my current position as the only deacon.

I have taken on the responsibility of caring for the salvation of a great number of people. It is only fitting that God reward me for my work.

Religious leaders are not supposed to value material possessions.

If this guy's real, just reinforces that these morons only act on fear or rewards. Some people can be moral without fear of consequence or desire for reward.
