To those that say that the car w/ 250K miles and is 23 years old isn't worth 1600, I'd like to meet you on the street just to show you what this 23 year old luxury sports car with 250K miles can do.

Apparently they still are "hot" today. Finding part, even in the junkyards, isn't easy.

maybe it's just your area... Here in So Cal, a car from 1983, with that many miles is worth like $500 max.

Luxury sports car? That one?
I mean, I like it, and I would definitely buy one, but not for that much (although around here that body would be considered to be in excellent shape).

its a toyota.....it will run for EVAR!

no seriously toyota's are stupidly reliable, you watch Top Gear? when JC let the tide take away that toyota hilux? heh they found it the next morning half sunken in the sand, pulled it out, all the mechanic did was pump some fuel into the engine, and they got it fired up!

its a lot of miles tho....them seats probably got someones ASS engraved in them by now....heh bucket seats :D:p

So why did my gfs corolla 2 year old corolla stop suddenly in the middle of the highway! Reliability my ass. She even had all maintenance done on time.

The Toyota pickup truck on TG could've been just any truck and it would've started up.

Yes, it is a luxury sports car. The regular sports car from toyota of that year is the celica gts. Do me a favor, go check the NADA listing on this car. :D

Not a Supra, I can GUARANTEE that. Supras are crazy overpriced...but good.

As for the miles...a non-turbo Toyota that hasn't been abused will last for much longer than that.

I don't car about the NADA value, I'm just stating the fact that I would not pay that much for that car. I imagine the luxury features are the power windows and sunroof? :p
