You are right, Hyundai is all about lots of luxury at a low price. But it also true (especially for Hyundai) that you get what you pay for.

One thing, Consumer Reports just review this very car. It got the #2 spot for large sedans with a large distance between #2 and #3.

Have it checked out. Maybe its something with the "Electronic Stability Control System" mentioned in the article.

Beyond that, look to aftermarket performance improvements, ie struts etc. (if cars use them these days ). It would be significantly cheaper than returning it and could even be made preferable to stock at an acceptable cost.

Your best bet is to contact the dealer, but more than likely, you are screwed. Your only real option at this point is to contact another car dealer and use the new vehicle as a trade. youw ill probably take a killing on it, but yuo can see what you owe vs. what the new dealership will give you in trade-value and decide whether you keep it and get used to it or take the financial loss.

i got my last saturn near the end of 2003 and they had that policy. dunno if its still active though. i don't see why not.
although i think you could only return it for another saturn, you couldn't get your money back.

Good idea, I'll turn off the ESC (stability control) and try it. But it sounds like a pure suspension hit/noise. Btw, ESC turns back on when you turn on the ignition.
