I got home from work today, and when I opened the cage to see if Minsc would eat anything if I fed it to him, he practically feel from the upper balcony into my hands. He sat in my lap while I stroked his back. After seeing how poor he looked, I can feel his back bone, he had porphrin rings around his eyes, and seemed really really weak. So I decided to call the vet to get him an appointment. While I was speaking to the vet, Minsc crawled to the side of my lap. Shortly before I hung up, he slid around behind my back. It didn't make me panic, he liked to crawl behind me normally, rats like to be covered up. After I hung up with the vet, I went to lift Minsc back up to my lap, only to find him completely limp. His mouth was hanging open with his eyes half open. His body sat in my lap and cooled while I called the vet back and canceled the appointment.

I'm going drinking saturday.
