Who committed the Boston Marathon Bombing?

  • U.S. Government -- black flag operation

  • Anti-Tax Militia. It's Tax Day, after all.

  • Foreign-born Islamicists

  • Domestic-born Islamicists (sudden jihad syndrome?)

  • Christian Extremists

  • The Jews!

  • Mexican Drug Lords

  • The Mafia

  • Saddam Hussein's Operatives (the George Bush option)

  • Lone nut who doesn't fit any of the above categories

Imo they were stupid picks and the last one was just an ignorant choice. The merits were debated in this and other threads but government cover up? The George Bush option? Radical right wing?

Cmon

Oklahoma City right a bell?

Also the fact it was on 4/15 in Boston, the home of the original tax protest, would seem to suggest a radical right wing element.

Basically Islamic terrorists have had literally thousands of opportunities to pull off a similar attack since 9/11 and have not. If the attack had been say 10 years immediately jumping to Islamic Terrorists would have made sense, but in 2013 I wouldn't make that assumption.

I don't vote in polls that expose the voters for that reason. People should not be pigeon holed for having a varying opinion, being right does not make you smarter...it just makes you right, THIS TIME. The simple truth here is that NOBODY was right on this one, if the official story is true.

Of course, a lot of people find it odd that the suspects waltzed into an area crawling with feds and bomb dogs without being noticed. Here is a good story pointing out some glaring issues with the official story and those two guys being the bombers:

Dude you probably voted for a government plot and would probably always pick that option for anything meaning you'd always be wrong.

Sometimes polls have sound choices in which case I have been wrong before. But this poll was filled with 2 solid options and filled with joke options. Usually there is only one joke option.

Well, this was unexpected.

So it does look like Muslim terrorism.

Just like the Times Square bomber.

LOL.

At least now will you guys learn?

I got called an "islamophobe" and a "fucking moron" for being one of the first to call this.

When will you bleeding hearts learn.. these monsters have no purpose, no political targets, nothing except to cause as much suffering to innocent civilians as possible. The sooner you start understanding that there are no limits to what they're capable of, the better you can deal with this.

But it also happened on April 15th in Boston. The date and location would seem to implicate an extreme "Tea Party" type group.

Also, given how long it has been such 9/11 one would have to legitimately wonder what took Islamists so long to pull such an attack.

You think they haven't tried? All the attacks have failed so far.

Flying airliners into buildings is also completely different the dropping off dufflebags with simple bombs in them.

These guys look like amateurs compared to the last Islamic attack.

I meant their motive for the original bombing. It looks like terrorism, but for what political cause. Are they jihadists?

If you look at the social media stuff, they were serious about their Islam. They liked what appear to be Islamic videos.

So? And they aren't Arab. They are Caucasian? Your point?

The word Caucasian was originally coined in the 18th century, and Arab speaking people were under that classification.

Of course, the old classification models are now considered scientifically invalid, but are still used by law enforcement and other gov't agencies for classifying people; most likely for simplicity's sake.

If it targets like muslim terrorist, uses bomb of choice of muslim terrorists then only extreme bias would make one think it was anything other than muslim terrorist. This is what political correctness will do to logic and common sense as it requires one to abandon them completely.

As already pointed out two such attacks were attempted, same muslim terrorist, similar target, same bomb.

The only logical answer was muslim terrorists.

That is complete and total horseshit. Political correctness had absolutely nothing to do with my initial suspicions as to who did this. The date and the Boston connection is what made me suspect it might be homegrown terrorists protesting tax day. Nothing more.

LOL.

When will you learn? These monsters do have a political target. They just don't have the strength to fight against it, so they fight it in the best way possible. Destroy the cogs in the machine. The citizens (the victims) pay taxes which feed the machine that they are out to destroy. Demoralize the people, it affects the target.

The same reason why in Iraq, the terrorists were killing the police officers. Not the political targets. Demoralizing the people so the government cannot function.

When you realize they do have a political target (and a reason) you will see clearly why they fight against us. And then maybe, just maybe, we can fix the problem.

+1

Seriously, right wing extremists targeting a marathon of all things. That itself doesn't make any sense. Their manifesto isn't to target civilians (although collateral damage is perfectly acceptable)

Yeah, I'm not surprised. I voted for foreign born Muslims.

They're speculating on the news that they are part of the IJU, Islamic Jihad Union. However, it's not a definite link yet.

Not at all, if you voted for 3 choices I gave a pass. I can't help it if 50% of this forum is filled with retards.

Yeah, that comment doesn't make you look like a huge douche...

I heard one expert speculate they could have ties but also that they could have been acting independently and even radicalized with the help of the internet.

Yet America kisses, holds hands or bows before the country that funds the Madrasas that in turn create these monsters, for oil profits, now the jihadist chickens are coming home to roost.

What was the intended target? The methods don't matter. These types of attacks were forwarned many years ago because of national efforts to prevent mass casualty attacks.

Oh really? I bet most agree with that statement. Had there been a poll option in DC I bet those results would have been more sane.

I didn't blindly look at these attacks for political supremacy as a liberal. I looked at them for what they were.
