[*]I like to snoop on neighbor house values.
[*]Gives good estimates of remodel effects on your house valuation.

Edits:
1) Zillow.com.
2) CNN covered this website yesterday. It is bogged down. Try refreshing.
3) Only 60 million homes are in. Not all homes will be there, yet.
4) It uses formulas based on house location, past sales in the neighborhood, home features, etc. This can be volitile and is not 100% accurate. You can refine it and let it know of additions, renovations, etc that affect the house value and make it more accurate.

Is that the Zestimate or the tax value? The Tax value is only a percentage of the total value. (by the way, the tax value is wrong on mine too....it's off by $8k.

That site said the value of my home has dropped 22% in the last year. Well, not so. The value that it shows now is too low by about 10%, and the value it showed a year ago was 30% too high.

I'm not bursting with confidence in the data coming from that site.

says our house is on 4 acres, and i am pretty sure we are on 4.5 acres...

tax value of 63K.

they cant calculate a zestimate.

also, its wrong since we added on to the house about 8 years ago, says we have 1.5 bath when we deffinately have 2 full baths. but i think the sq ft. is right.

Holy cow. That place doesn't have information for my particular condo, but every one of my neighbors' condos are valued on there at a solid $70-80K more than I paid for mine!

Might be time to consider selling/moving.

The house next to me is currently listed for $40,000 more than the site says it is.

EDIT: The sale date is wrong, too.
