Borderlands coming Oct 20th

So I made a game last night with a buddy and we are playing along, and in jumps a level 25 guy and a level 50 guy. They gave us all kinds of crazy purple weapons. Since I'm only level 17 and the weapons were for level 44, I sold the weapons at the vending machine after I saw they were worth 150K each!

I'm rich now....have about 400K in my bank account, lol

I got those two. I got a third claptrap in New Haven.

Nice. Reminds me of playing Diablo II when you would occasionally see a game titled something like "Free Gear!" in the list. You jump in and find high level people giving away items they don't need.

The very first one you encounter in game. You can climb on top of the building by jumping up the right side. Once on top you'll see a clap trap on the rock ledge behind the store. There's even an arrow on the roof of the building that points toward him.

good playing with you last night Joph, Rage and other guy I forgot your gamertag. I felt pretty much useless most of the time being 4 levels lower than everyone, but definitely more fun with 4 people.

so far playing the sniper is a blast, the winged pet is pretty awesome.

I now have it that once my shield goes down, 50% of it regenerates in a few seconds. Endless shields.

Looking to trade a level 22 yellow (legendary?) shotgun for a similar level and rarity sniper rifle. I use the shotty but I'm a hunter and can never find a good sniper rifle.

Well every class can use every gun, it's just the hunter has a couple perks that make those guns slightly more effective.

Found a sick place to farm weapons last night. Went to post it on a site but seems like it was already known. There are 4 weapon chests in New Haven. 2 of the really good red ones and 2 white. Add a dummy splitscreen character for better loot drops. Run through and clear them all out. It takes about 2 min. Save exit and reload. I got a bunch of level 25 purple and yellow/orange weapons and mods. Also got a Million credits for doing that for about 45 min. Still didn't find a good sniper though.

This is in a city so you don't even have to fight anything.

They're all in the main part of New Haven? The area w/ all the shops and mission board?

Yeah Gorcorps, 3 are on bldg. And 1 is in a shed. I heard there is a 5th but I can't find it. Notsure what level you are but if you are 20-30 I'd say it's a good place for weapons and if you are above that it's still the best place for money.

I got 2 yellow shotguns, rocket launcher, revolver, and smg last night. Funny though that all of the legendarys came from the same chest. If you need help finding them and you see me on, send an invite and I'll show you.

Don't forget to do the splitscreen trick. It really does make the loot rarer.
