Preorder bonuses at Amazon and Gameslop but not from Steam itself
I prefer to buy directly from Steam, but I guess Amazon will work.

ton a side note, i have now played the song from that trailer about 2035346334534 times in a row.
This, also it annoyed me that people with pirated copies could play online too.

since its all new classes/skill trees, im assuming its standalone.Any idea if you are suppose to make a new character or do you just import your character from the first one?
Does this game use the same engine as the first game?
Like the first game, Borderlands 2 is being developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games, running on Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3.
I love claptrap. I hope they have a demo for the new game.
sweet lord i am in love :wub::wub::wub:So, they published a "letter from Claptrap" today to us PC gamers:
http://www.borderlands2.com/loveletter
The gist is that we'll be getting:
FOV Slider
100% Mouse Usable Menus / Mouse Wheel Scrolling
Remappable binds
PC Specific UI
Native multiplayer matching (no more Gamespy!)
Push to Talk (but in voice chat I assume)
Logitech keyboard support
LAN support (including offline mode)
control pad support
integrated v-sync option
support for higher resolutions (they don't say it, but maybe this means eyefinity?)
mouse smoothing options (can be disabled completely)
Steam Cloud save support
Steam Achievement support
Steam Friends list support

Can not wait to preorder. My most anticipated game of 2012 easily. I don't preorder much. But I easily sank 150 hours into the first one. So Gearbox has earned my preorder.
I thought my ~220 hours was bad.Although, I was a bit sad when I fired it up the other day and ran into the dreaded 100% processor use bug.

Did you have mods installed? For me it was the shader file(s) added for the hub that triggered that. Supposedly you can keep the hub and just remove those files but I forget whether I did that.
