This is one of my few day one games I'll preorder and get. Can't wait till greenmangaming gets it up for preorder and has a good deal :D

This is the must buy game of 2012. Looks like Cliffy B is jumping on the bandwagon with his new game, which looks like a pathetic rip off of Borderlands stylistically.

Worst part about the trailer is realizing that there's still two months to wait! :(

There's quite a few previews and developer interviews dropping today across various gaming sites. I haven't had time to watch them all but this one is pretty informative. Minor spoilers (locations, NPCS, some quests), so be warned. Also slightly NSFW (mild profanity, violence)

Heres another which talks about bad ass points and some skills

What engine are they using?

Edit - Still with the Unreal 3? Really not a fan. Yeah I'm a superficial graphics whore blah blah blah.

I assume it's a customized Unreal 3 engine similar to the original. I just wish that they'd have anti-aliasing in the game. When you're using cartoony, cell-shaded graphics... you don't need Crysis-like graphics to be awesome.

That game is going to be so much win!! :D Loved the first one - I had so many hours of fun! Can't wait for the second one (and Lilith with fiery wings = <3 ).

MLAA (or FXAA) = problem solved. Game looks brilliant with it!!

Yeah I put a ton of hours in Borderlands, surprising given the somewhat repetitive nature of many of the tasks. Just a great overall game.

BL2 definitely gets an exception to my "wait until a steam sale" rule...

Good point, I forgot it was in the cell shade style. I guess I am just lamenting, in general, the continued use of that engine. I like the idea of the game, but was turned off by its look.

Pre-order up on Steam. Also -10% this weekend only if you own the first part on Steam.

And it's already number 1 in Top Sellers... :awe:

Awesome, I have been waiting for bordelands to go preorder on steam.

Check out the space requirements - Hard Disk Space: 20 GB free

It would be nice if you got a giftable copy of the original borderlands.

I just hope they allow for a wider FOV on this game. I enjoyed ghe first, but got sick after a half hour every time I played because of the FOV designed for a TV.

Ugh looks like it was a price mistake. So lame. I had it in my cart but the page doesn't load correctly at work so I couldn't check out. Was going to do it at home but they fixed the price so it's now $59.99. After 20% off it's $48 >_<.

It's been confirmed by the devs that the game will be much more PC friendly than its predecessor, and will include a FOV option.

If you already own borderlands or buy borderlands from amazon you'll get a code good for 10% off borderlands 2. Makes it about $36 per copy. If someone wants to sell me a spot, I'm down.

I'm not sure anyone actually bought the game from Amazon and not Steam, though.

I got Borderlands: GOTY from Amazon a couple weeks ago.

Received an e-mail from Amazon today saying that I have an $18.00 promotional credit towards Borderland 2 pre-order.

Needless to say, I'm using it!

I wonder if they'll take into account some of the things that we did with the mod programs in the past. The big one that almost no PC game does is the ability to skip intro movies.
