I vote for Face McShooty to be the most awesome character in any recent game and his quest the most awesome quest :awe: The achievement for it literally made me laugh so hard!!

I literally could not stop laughing :D :D :D It's random things like that which I love in this game! Did you guys listen to the stuff the enemies are saying when you shoot them, use your action skill or kill them? The ROFLing caused me to die a few times! :D

Here's a Gearbox Forums thread: http://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=152164

Seriously Gearbox, love you guys!! :awe:

I really liked that and the jump off the cliff quest you get from Handsome Jack. That guy that yells "Im gonna be rich!" before he jumps is pretty funny.

This game is fun, even though the AI is dumb as a bag of rocks.

They may move from side to side and randomly roll to dodge enemy shots, but they have the attention span and intelligence of a 3 year old. It takes only a few seconds of you staying out of their field of vision for them to forget that you were ever there, and you can sometimes be right in front of them, and they will still point their gun up towards the ceiling looking for you.

Grrrrrrrrrr!!! So frustrated right no! I cannot, for the life of me, kill
Dukino's mom!
. I'm generally well above average in FPS games, but some of her attacks are just unavoidable, and reduce me from full health/shields, to like less than 100 health, and then I get breathed on, die, and of course none of the low level mobs that spawn are anywhere nearby to get a second wind on, or they're way too far away, or have just been killed. HTH do you kill her?

I have 2 keys saved up, but it says that I have the keys when I log in with each of my 4 characters. Do I get to use each key for each character, or do I only have 2 keys across all characters I've made?

PS - Which character has the best survivability? Zer0 is starting to feel squishy.

I believe the keys are tied to the account itself and not the characters, so you have 2 keys total and you can use them with whatever characters you wish... but you still only have 2.

loving this game. I loved the original but this one had me gripped. Like playing for hours and suddenly realising it was damn late.

So many brilliant bits but so far Shooty McFace and Sarcastic Slab have been the best.

Video spoiler of sarcastic slab.

Anybody else find the collision in this game annoying? I'm backpedaling, or running to get out of the way of incoming fire, and I get stuck on a tiny little step/ledge.

Some skill bugs too. Skills saying that add like ~15% to shield capacity when maxed, but only adding ~8%.

Only put in like 6-8 hours into it but it's pretty fun, though so far I think the original was more fun somehow. It does look amazing in Surround.

The original just felt fresh. The art style, the humor, the game play all weren't necessarily new ideas but together felt quite different from anything else out. They didn't want to change too much and risk screwing up what people liked, so we're seeing mostly more of the same.

Yeah the collision is a little wonky for some reason. There's been several times where I just get stuck on pretty much nothing and have to jump my way out.

Haven't noticed any skill bugs, but also haven't calculated. There's a lot of class mods and stuff that give a shield penalty. Are you sure you aren't using one?

Yeah... that happened a lot in the first game too. What annoys me now is how ridiculous collision detection is while driving a vehicle (I swear sometimes Pandora must have crazy flippin' moon gravity) or on a dead mob's carcass. A dead mob still has "rigidity" for what seems like a few seconds after its death, which can be rather annoying. :|

I've a couple saved up, are they worth using at lower levels, or even at all?

Save till 50 since the chest scales with your level. No use using them at lower lvls when you'll be replacing that item anyways.

Few years ago, I played about 5-6hrs of Borderland 1, got sick of enemy respawning and gave up on the game.

Bought this few days ago and REALLY tried to get into it. After 5-6hrs, with its annoying enemy respawn, I uninstalled the game.

No borderland 3 for me.

The enemies take like 30 mins to respawn. There were very few occassions when I had to deal with it. Also, once you go back to an area and know it, you can run pass the mobs to get where you need to be and just clear out that section you have to stop at, that's what I do.

That is about my only gripe with this game. Trying to back out of an area, only to get your back caught on a door jam or something incredibly small. Super annoying.

Wow, BL2 is way harder than the original. The suicide psychos in particular are f'n annoying as hell.

And :( - No more insta-kill when you run over something with the car? It does more damage to the car than it does the mob.

Yeah, I thought that was kinda dumb, the fact that you hardly do any damage to things you run over, unlike the original. It does seem to knock things down for a while though, so you can walk up to them and shoot their crit spots, if you'd want to.

Also, there's been lots of talk about the reduced violence in this one, as compared to the original (exploding head shots, etc.), and I'm really missing that, as it was so over-the-top in the first one, that it actually made the game more fun/hilarious. I'm hoping they patch that back in, as I've read that Pitchford has suggested they might.
