I really liked the Tina DLC. That was so fun.

Didn't care so much for Scarlets pirate one though.

Did anyone play the Halloween/Thanksgiving or Xmas DLC's? Looks like they are just quick 1 -2 hr play's from what I've read?

I have the Halloween one. It is just one simple map with a very small amount of content. I havent' even looked at info regarding the Christmas one, but if it is like the others, then there is no special loot and you only have access to a really weak boss that is basically never worth fighting.

The Halloween pack does have a special hidden boss that drops some decent loot--one of the legendary RLs, I believe, but it's a bit of a pain to spawn him.

1-2 hours is accurate.

Copy that,,,,thanks for the confirmation. I little more time in Tiny Tinas then I guess it's off to digistruct peak which, I'm guessing, will make all these lvl 72 legendaries we've been chasing obsolete....heh

Not so much obsolete. I went through OP3 or 4 with most of my 72 oranges. If you have a good group, you could probably go up another OP or two at most. The bosses become huge pains in the rear when the DPS doesn't add up.

When I was taking my toons through, I would get a drop that would replace one piece at OP1, then maybe another piece or two around OP3 or 4...basically did that all the way up to OP8. Neither myself nor my group was worried about steamrolling through, one-shotting everything on our runs so we'd take our time.

depending on your class and build, you can probably get up to OP 5 or so with your level 72 gear.

That would be easier if you do it with a group.

Also, there is always Gibbed, for leveling up your gear. No reason to feel shame in that. ;)

I start other character classes and play them up to at least reaching Sanctuary. Instant set of carrying slots and bank slots, plus you can always have them play the slots at Moxxi to get Eridium to buy more slots.

yup--just make some mules. and as for the Bitch, that thing truly is a Bitch for drops. Just level it up with Gibbed as you go. You will not likely see another one

I actually have a lvl 72 bitch.....Believe it or not,I got it during the loot hunt out of that red chest where you kill lynchwood sheriff....And we probably killed Bunk3r 100 times with no results.....dumb luck pays off sometimes.

So explain this better to me as I'm groggy form my holiday boozing. If I create another character and get him to sanctuary I know I will have access to the vault there...but how do I get the goods from 1 game to the other? And, do you even need to go to Sanctuary? Isn't that same storage vault at claptraps place?

Thanks

to transfer items, you need to do it via claptrap's shitty 4-slot bank. ...very shitty, very horrible system. I was disappointed that Gibbed cant' really fix this--all I wanted to do was just increase claptrap's slots by "a metric shitload" to avoid having to transfer back and forth. Just have a universal chest.

the banks only exist in claptrap's place from TVHM on. If you start a character in normal mode, the banks will not be in his house. So, yeah, you have to get any newly-created mule to Sanctuary. again...pain in the ass.

Well finished the game with a lvl 50, dunno if I should continue and finish all the dlc missions or should I start the vault hunters mode? Anyone got any suggestions?

Depends on what you want to do. I definitely would recommend Tiny Tina's DLC if you have it. I really enjoyed that one. The other DLC were not terrible, but none of them really grabbed me enough to play them more than once.

Personally, I play solo and like to try all the different classes and level them up through normal and TVH mode. UVH mode was just too frustrating to me, although I did manage to finish it with Salvador.

If you like to play with others and farm for loot, you can do that as well. The raid bosses are very difficult solo though.

at 50, you should start the DLC in UVHM. if you play it in TVHM, you will not level and it will just get boring and wasteful (of your time).

UVHM isn't that hard, you just have to realize that it requires everything to be slagged...which is pretty much lame. You will also be 2-shot, most of the time

some classes can just get through these issues with little trouble--As Maya, you want to trait into Ruin to add slag to your phase lock (the damage is worthless--that skill is only to get instant slag of mobs), with Salvador you want to carry around a slag Rubi in your offhand. Keeps everything slagged and keeps you healed as you shoot things.

But the DLC is pretty fun, so I recommend doing that in UVHM so you can keep leveling, and also get a challenge out of it.

One recommendation--if you finished the clan war side quest from Ellie, and you sided with the Irish fella (meaning, you killed the hillbillies), then you might want to consider farming Tector Hodunk. He drops The Slagga, which is a very good SMG for slagging and is no slouch for damage, as well. This gun will get you through much of UVHM and even when outleveled, you can still use it as an effective slag-and-swap weapon.

Started playing a couple nights ago on PS3 (free at the moment!).

I skipped this earlier because the graphics just looked weird to me. I can see why so many people like it, though. It's got quite the flare to it. Interesting game.

I am a total whore for turrets so of course got the Commando.

I am level 50 and cant beat those Ghost Kings in Tina Tina's DLC on TVHM. I am playing as a Psycho this time. Very frustrating, especially those undead things where you have to pull out the sword in their back or they respawn. Even more annoying is that if you kill them you dont get a second wind. I think I did it as Salvador at about the same level, but Psycho while a fun class, is somewhat difficult to play.

Every class is difficult compared to Salvador. Stick with the Psycho til 57. Get Bloodsplosion and Release the Beast and you'll possibly giggle with glee (like I did) at the chain reaction kills you'll get via Bloodsplosion.

The final skill in the fire tree is fun for psycho too -- running around with homing, exploding fireballs launching themselves at enemies while you're busy shooting :)

Yea, those are pretty cool. The problem to me is that with this class, there are a lot of cool powers, but they seem to come with bigger penalties than some of the other classes. Or maybe it is just because so many are directed to melee, which I suck at.

Anyway, for me at least, I think it is the hardest class to play.

Can someone tell me what the "You're not the boss of me" levers sprinkled around Pandora are for? There's one in the Exploitation Reserve close to where you fight
Bloodwing
and another in the Arid Nexus but they're red and don't seem to activate anything. If it's for a quest I must have missed it.

Not sure about the "You're not the bos of me" part but IIRC:

There are a couple levers in Expo that only work for side mission.

In Arid Nexus, there is one right across from the start under a small building. It's also tied to side mission, after you turn it in the lever can still be used for farming the person upstairs.
