Where is the Bloody Harvest DLC within the game? I don't see it installed.. I have the edition of the game where all DLC is included, what map is for the new DLC? I don't see it on the BL2 steam page either under DLC, but it came out the 22nd?
Bloody harvest isn't part of the season pass.

Finally finished the main campaign on UVHM, ...

I have three other level 50 characters, but am not sure I will start another on UVHM. I found it frustratingly difficult, and think it would be even more so without the ability to slag while gunzerking or to regen ammo.

You might try Gaige, she has Interspersed Outburst to add slag to her first shot. Or Maya, Ruin adds slag to the phaselock.

Finally finished the main campaign on UVHM, and got an orange drop killing the warrior. What was it??
One of those stupid flakker shotguns, possibly the most useless rare item in the game. I think that was the only rare drop I got in the entire UVHM play through. I finished as Salvador. I hate to think how many hours I have into this game, I play offline, so I don't think steam tallies the playtime correctly.

I find Salvador horribly frustrating on UVHM so far--because relying on Rubi to slag sucks balls compared to Maya's instant slag everything...as well as instant kill everything with a quick SMG burst :D

granted, Maya only gets to that point after serious gearing, which I don't yet have for Sal, but I'm not liking that Rubi seems to slag about 5% of that which I hit in offhand--or at least, the accuracy is terribly low or I am constantly shooting behind/through targets.

I used a slag smg or assault rifle combined with a fire or corrosive smg in the other hand. I got frustrated only in a few spots, trying to kill Wilhelm and the ambush commanders was probably the worst. I am sort of taking a break from the game for now, but if I go back, I will probably start with a siren or mecromancer if I attempt UVHM again.

Have you tried Krieg?

I don't have a good set for UVHM yet, but my primary setup through TVHM was Heartbreaker/shock shotgun, while switching back and forth to Rubi.

I'm pushing more towards the pistol build now that I'm getting the skill points, so I'm just going to focus on Torgue DLC so I can grab a properly leveled Harold (actually, I already have one about 8 levels above Sal right now, so I might just wait for that)

I'm not fond of mixing gun types, as I like the damage boost. Plus, I got a very decent ~48ish Sheriff's badge just from doing that quest (Actually, it's close to max stats, I think), so I'd like to go back to pistols, and a good Hyperion shotgun setup.

The reload on my torgue shock shotgun was annoying but workable in TVHM, but it is killing me in UVHM. Plus, those shotguns constantly jam while gunzerking. I do believe this is a bug, and you would think just hitting the reload button makes this a non-issue...but it really doesn't.

Is there a better slag option than Rubi? Or do I just suck with Rubi in an offhand? It just seems so inaccurate and even when I'm hitting the target, it rarely procs.

Just started him in normal mode.

lvl 57 probably seems like forever and a day away for you now, but once you get Release the Beast AND Bloodsplosion you will experience something truly, ridiculously awesome.

Even just getting to 31 and Release the Beast is badass, but the combo is truly nutso. Most fun I've had in the game by FAR. I'd start off a nice chain of explosions, and then I'd have other mobs run into the Bloodsplosion radius from out of nowhere, or the chain would go around a corner, and I'd see 999,999K pop out a time or two from mobs I didn't know were spawned. It's so much fun.

I think Grog Nozzle is the only better option, but it's sorta a glitch I guess. It's almost too OP IMO. I mean, Rubi + DPUH is OP too, but Grog + DPUH is OP overkill :)

Get a nice slag Rubi, hopefully with the 26% slag chance (iirc), and then a DPUH in primary and you will slaughter everything. You will run low on ammo occasionally, but just try to pick it up when it drops and you should be good. I never had a Sheriff's badge either and still owned face.

I love my Krieg, but my Sal makes my Krieg look gimped in certain situations.

Sal is the only one I've done UVH with. I started off with Rubi / Infinity to get the damage bonus from Divergent. Until I managed to get a good Bee and then went to dual Infinity for quite some time relying on fire rate without slag. Due to the low capacity of it though, I also kept 2 RL in my off set for second winds.

Lately I've started going with Hard Harold / Infinity. Everyone talks about the DPUH, but there's quite a few skills that I've heard mentioned that I don't use. It really isn't a good fit for my build and don't feel like doing a complete respec just to center around 1 gun.

ah...I did not realize that a 26% slag Rubi existed. I basically assumed that my DVA Rubi was good enough...though it does reload quite often....actually, I think my Siren has the DVA Rubi, which is kinda pointless--I only swap that when tossing Storm Front for the health regen. I do fire it sometimes, but not so much to warrant the DVA...maybe I will gib it down levels for my Sal.

As for the Grognozzle, I've barely thought about it. I would essentially gib myself one if I thought I needed it, because I don't want to focus on those missions, wait for the right level to access it, then go through the grind of spawning a proper one. Really, I have no shame in gibbing for stuff like this if it is well out of access for me.

I will still grind my face off for impossible drops, so I feel that my karma is balanced on that end (eh except for those legendary siren and cat mods... :whiste:)

Bunker still has yet to drop any legendary for me (60+ farms), but in a horrible irony the other day, I was parking myself at Terra's gate in Thousand cuts to farm those two nomads for BAR points in TVHM--the ones that always spawn with chained midgets. In the Dahl chest outside that gate, out pops a loot midget. Bastard drops a Bitch...a level 48, corrosive...Bitch. :|

From what I remember from reading, haven't done the DLC with the Grog nozzle. It's a mission use item that's lost if you turn in the mission and the stats are "re-rolled" when you log in. So even if you had the perfect version it may not be the same next time you played.

The important aspects, especially for a Gunzerker, are the ~65% healing from ALL damage it provides (compared to the Rubi's 12%), and something like +300% critical damage (which applies to your main hand weapon as well). It's not used so much for it's direct contribution, but more for the bonuses it gives to your main hand while Gunzerking. Rubi is mostly the same way, though Rubi is a little more useful with its damage (though still relatively miniscule when compared to a main hand DPUH, etc.).

This stupid game. I told myself after the fourth playthrough that I was finished. I made the mistake of following the gunzerker discussion here and I suddenly found myself on playthrough #5. Makes me wonder why I even own any other games sometimes.

Ya.....on my third siren playthrough...god forbid if I try another character. I could still be playing when they release Super Duper True Ultimate Pentaverat Vault Hunter Mode to the 4th power..

Seriously though, This will be one of those games I truly miss playing when I finally do get bored with it

I've mostly lost interest in it; I haven't played it in a little over a month. Steam says I'm at 497 hours though, and I imagine there are a few unaccounted hours in there as well. I definitely have gotten my money's worth from it, and I imagine I'll play it again at some point. This was entirely single player too, so I never go to have the fun/experience of playing with a friend. I tend to be a solo player anyway though.

I'm not bored yet after 400+ hours, and (eek!) now I'm starting to think about another Borderlands 1 playthrough or two....

Oh, I went there... :D

I thought I got my money's worth from BL1 and overplayed it, at 220 hours or so. Figured the same would happen with BL2--dig it hardcore then suddenly stop, never really get the secondary toons to high levels and just get sick of the playthroughs.

But...here I am, approaching 500 hours now...more than 2x my BL1 time. it's nuts. For the longest time, I still preferred BL1, but I have changed my assessment. For some reason, steam lost my Hunter from BL1 (~level 54!) and I really don't want to work on my Roland, which is something like level 40. Lilith is still my favorite, but I did pretty much everything with her (except figure out how to solo Craw, even after watching an ATer do it several times ....well, as much as I could watch while falling off of that cliff).

I started a Brick. ....ugh. I don't really want to play it any more :D

When should I start doing the dlc and in what order? I just beat the game and I'm a 38 or so gunzerker. I'm sure this has been asked before a million times but I can't find a definitive answer

Honestly, if you can stomach another run through TVHM now, it's probably best to wait til UVHM I think. Though I think you could do one of the DLCs in TVHM now. Maybe try Torgue and see what lvl the enemies are.

I logged in a lot of hours playing BL1. I don't remember the exact levels but had 50-61 Roland, Mord and Lil. Got to where I could solo Craw with Roland, using the "glitch" spot over on the left that normally made him just stand around roaring. Made possible with ammo regen and had an AR, I thnk, that fired in an arc that allowed me to get his weak spot on the back. Started up Brick and not sure of what level I got him to, but it got to the point I couldn't even play due to disc read errors on my xbox.

You should spend the $5 for the BL1 Windows GOTY during the Steam xmas sale. You'll finally be able to master Brick's secret "punch things until they die" technique.

Joiiinnnn Ussssssss......
