Don't eat chicken wing then.
how is wingy formed

¿Que?
you left the 's' off of "wings" in your reply and it reminded me of the caveman talking in the "how is babby formed" flash video

We are talking about chicken wing. I guess you could contend no one can eat just one wing, but it is a countable noun.

And I have not seen any of the caveman commercials.

i don't like the skin or gnawing on the bone, so boneless wings are a great "invention" to me. more meat, less work, how can anyone hate on that?

There's more meat on a boneless wing, you get more for your dollar.

That's because they aren't wings... just wing shaped chicken nuggets!

There really is no such thing as "boneless wings"... it's just something some marketing guy made up to pass off cheap pressed chicken patties as something more expensive.

And a friggen drumstick ain't a wing either but they throw that in with them too.

the tiny drummets are definitely part of the wing... the less juicy half :)

Screw that. You get more meat without the bone....I think.

I like boneless because I can eat them with a fork. I look like a bloodthirsty demon after eating regular wings.

order chicken strips then. The whole point to the wings is the flavour from the bones and skin and fat.

Sometimes I do order chicken strips. They usually come with a cool toy.

BONUS!

You are ordering kids meals? You can't be that short...

i was talking real meat, not processed nugget type meat. i have made "buffalo wings" with pieces of home cooked white meat chicken covered in the same chicken wing sauce.

that is still a chicken nugget. Not all nuggets are created equal.

Face it, wing is dark meat, you are using white meat, plus no fatty skin nor taste giving bones. How is it a wing?

it's not a preformed nugget. these are pieces of chicken that taste like wings.

Once upon a time, chicken nugget was cut up chicken chunks that got seasoned, breaded and then fried or baked. Then the factory production ones came to existence. What I am saying is your boneless chicken wing is just a chicken nugget from the old days. Order buffalo chicken strips if you wish.

when i think chicken nugget i think McD's chicken nugget which is preformed crap.

and when i say i've made boneless buffalo wings before i am not talking about anything that is breaded.

Wegmans has these really awesome boneless chicken wings in their frozen foods section. I'm not sure, but I think the brand name is Yummy (heh) and while they may not be close to the experience of eating a chicken wing with bone intact, they're quite well flavored and rather easy to cook. A delectable and easy snack to make if you need something quick! :)

I've never had boneless chicken wings before, but if they are actually made of breast meat, I think that's pretty misleading. They really shouldn't be called wings if the meat is not from wings.

There is a huge difference in texture and flavor between wing and breast meat. If I ordered chicken wings, boneless or not, it better be from an actual chicken wing.

And, I never understood the huge fascination with breast meat, compared to other parts of the chicken. In general, it is more dry, more tough, and has less flavor. The only thing going for it is from a health standpoint because it has the least amount of fat.

It is a myth that fat and connective tissue have all the flavor.

I like boneless so that I can eat it easilly and not get that spice all over my face. I go for the hottest wings that any restaurant has, and it isn't pleasant if it gets in the wrong location.

A big fail on the boneless chicken wing in my book.

The "flavor" comes from the sauce you use on them, not from the veins, connective tissue, etc that you refer too (ick).

Regular boned wings also don't have much meat on them, too much work for too little reward. I prefer the boneless ones myself.

That's like saying you don't like to taste. It doesn't make sense.

face it, the concept of chicken wings was invented because someone found a way to serve the once garbage parts of the chicken when they smothered it in (buffalo) sauce.

the concept of the boneless wing takes that same meat selling sauce, only it doesn't require at least 3-6 chickens to die to produce 12 "wings".

you do realize those chickens would have died anyway, those small parts just going in the trash instead of a fryer and sauce bucket? not like banning wing eating would all of a sudden stop all chicken deaths or something.

i love bone in wings, but sometimes its not too bad just chillin with a plate of buffalo nuggets and a beer. the mess is way easier to clean up also.

Boneless wings for me. All I'm really after is the sauce and B-Dubs has some tasty ones. :)
