This.

Edit:

Since bits of the spinal cord (the part most likely to be carrying BSE)[citation needed] and brain tissue often got mixed in with the rest of the meat, products using mechanically separated meat taken from the bodies of bovines were at higher risk for transmitting BSE to humans. As a result, in 1989 the United Kingdom tightened restrictions to help ensure that pieces of the spinal cord would not be present in mechanically separated meat taken from bovines.[1]

Zaxby's boneless wings were so nasty. I was so stupid, though. I actually thought there was some poor bastard back there whose job is to strip the meat off the bones to cook them, and that's why it was taking them so long. It turned out that they're just slow.

That's like saying you don't like to taste. It doesn't make sense.

face it, the concept of chicken wings was invented because someone found a way to serve the once garbage parts of the chicken when they smothered it in (buffalo) sauce.

the concept of the boneless wing takes that same meat selling sauce, only it doesn't require at least 3-6 chickens to die to produce 12 "wings".

I'm posting that boneless chicken wings resemble actual chicken wings in much the same way the mechanically separated beef patties resemble fillet mignon.

I have a preference. You are free not to care.

The USDA repeatedly declared the peanut butter paste that recently killed some and made many more sick safe to eat, too.

So, HEY, chow down, champ, what could possibly go wrong?

A big fail on the boneless chicken wing in my book.

When I eat a chicken wing, I pull the meat off with my teeth and avoid the "connective tissues" and "fat stores" as much as humanly possible. They are gross

And I definitely never gnaw on the bone.

If you'd like, I can box up my bones and that other shit after biting the meat off...and ship it to you.

I love both kinds of wings. When your drunk, eating boneless buffalo "wings" is great, because then you don't stab yourself with the bones or swallow and get them stuck in your throat.

On the flipside, I love eating real wings because they're messy, and you gotta pull 'em apart. Same with rack ribs. Pick it up, bite the meat off, knaw on the bone like a cave man, unga bunga!

Boneless wings are easier to eat and taste just as good.

the taste that bone imparts to meat happens during the cooking process. whether or not you touch the bone, the taste is already in the meat. HUGE difference.

what kind of madman would cook a nice stew or beef soup without a honking fat chunk of bone simmering in the base?

The wings I eat are so spicy you cannot taste the meat, bone/bonless I gaurentee you couldn't tell the difference in the taste of the meat. If the wings are totally coated with goey sauce, hell it could be turkey meat and I couldn't tell the difference.

all that matters is how it's cooked and the sauce.

The boneless wings I get are made with all real breast meat, I'm not sure where you guy are getting them from where it's nuggets. The chicken I eat is quality and definitely not chopped and formed. You know, you can take a big ass chicken breast and cut it so it the pieces look like a drumstick or wing right? I've done it plenty of times :)

Really? You've taken a "big ass" chicken breast and cut it into pieces that look like a drumstick? That look like a chicken wing? Plenty of times? You must be a real artist with a carving knife! I demand pics! :p

Don't eat chicken wing then.

Screw that. You get more meat without the bone....I think.

I like boneless because I can eat them with a fork. I look like a bloodthirsty demon after eating regular wings.

Every boneless I've tried has too much breading, plain and simple. It's like a 40/60 breading/chicken ratio. Give me a naked wing any day regardless of the wing size over that boneless junk. And anyone complaining about eating boned wings while loaded, turn in your man cards.

Chicken wing is eaten in Asia a lot longer than the Buffalo Wings came into existence.

order chicken strips/nuggets then. The whole point to the wings is the flavour from the bones and skin and fat.

I prefer boneless wings better. I think they taste better and I'm really only going after the wing sauce.

That's all it's about. I could care less about the bone.

This. Boneless are less work, cleaner, and provide a chicken based vehicle for sauce consumption. I personally don't find anything exciting about the taste/texture of fat/connective tissue.

Sometimes I do order chicken strips. They usually come with a cool toy.

You are eating chicken nuggets shaped as wings. That ain't no chicken wing.
