I use bodywash from Old spice for everything. Huzzah!

I use the Old Spice High Endurance body wash "fresh" scent and it cleans well with the poof I use and doesn't leave me feeling dirty. I tried Axe but left me too greasy and bar soap makes my skin feel dry.

use sandpaper like a real man

Fixed. 😛
Hmm. My wife bought some sort of Irish Spring soap for me that evidently contains some type of grit in it.

I didn't know, and used it in the shower....once.

Let's just say the more tender places didn't appreciate it.

I was damn clean, though.

Damn I always have used Irish Spring bar soap for about the last 8 years

I use Irish spring and I've never noticed anything like that.
I actually like Irish Spring bar soap too.
I think PacFan's wife must've bought him some Lava soap. :Q

Dammit, look at my edit. I went and looked it up, I said to begin with it wasn't regular Irish Spring....I use that all the time.

It was Irish Spring "Micro Clean", which is basically their version of Lava, from what I can tell.

And it's "ouch", very "ouch", baby.

I don't know why you guys think soap is cheaper than body wash. I can use a $3 bottle of target body wash for months before I need to get a new one.

i know my vote doesn't really count, but yes, that is all I use. Organic, hypo-allergenic stuff. It is worth every penny.

Why, are you allergic to most soaps?

if you're doing nothing but rubbing a bar of soap on your skin, you're not getting clean. I'll be a man who exfoilates and gets twice as clean as you "manly men" who use Irish Spring. Females like men who smell clean and have good skin.

Have fun being manly men and scrubbing away with your bar of soap.

Axe's "Recovery" shower gel is GOOD. I've had females walk by me and sniff and comment on how nice I smell. so $4 bottle of axe > .50 bar of crap soap.

the term Metreosexual cracks me up, I love females, and simply because I attempt to be as clean as I possibly can (which I can't with only a bar of soap and a rag) I'm somehow close to being gay. If being clean means I'm semi gay than I guess I'm semi coming out of the closet. If being a man requires me to be dirty and unclean I probably am better off handing in my man card. Call me crazy, but I like to be C L E A N.

HAHAHAHAHA

is this a parody?

I use bar soap 75% of the time but usually on the weekends when I take a bit longer shower I'll use Axe bodywash.

I started using bodywash a couple months ago and really like it.
It seems to rinse off cleaner than soap and the cost is not much.
I can get a bottle for $1.99

LOL, yeah, using a bodywash is the only way to get clean. Sure thing, sparky.

Nope.

I use a bar of soap and a wash cloth.

Yep. I got a free container of bodywash with some soap and tried it and hated it. The soap rinses right off but it took me forever to feel like there was none of that bodywash left on me after using it.

I use a combo body wash/shampoo. I have incredibly short hair so I don't need real good hair products.

what do you use?

I still shampoo my shaved head just out of habit.

Bar soap...Dove.

Whenever I've used body wash, I feel like I have to use way too much to work up a lather, most of the stuff spills out of my hands before it gets on my body. Then, once it's on, it feels like I can't get it off. It's the body wash conundrum.

Plus, I don't want to come out of the shower smelling like a high school kid or an Armenian nightclub owner.

WTF is a poof?

Its a lattice of nylon that gets a lot of dead skin cells and thriving bacteria embedded in it, that people enjoy smothering over themselves.

i just use soap and my hands
Me, too, but if you really want to get scrubbed clean:

Washcloth > Pouf
