This thread actually reminded me that I just opened my last bar of soap and need to get more :Q!

I have. It's weird the first couple times but you get used to it.

I hope so!

I roll with HCl on my brush 😱.

EDIT:

Hey Mosh, since I'm almost out of soap and we both use the same, mind swinging by and dropping off a bar or two? 😛

Bodywash + manpoof http://images.google.com/image...ler&btnG=Search+Images

Bar of soap FTL, if it even smells half manly it fucking dries your skin out.

There's enough manly smelling bodywashes now, but the fucking manloofah has got to go: http://www.youtube.com/AxeDetailer

LOl I bought one of those at Walmart 2 days ago when I was picking up some Axe Body Scrub. It works good, and it's not a Loofah it's a Pouf on Steroids, I actually like the red scratchy top part, I scrubbed the shit out of my chest with it. The rubber grip is nice too. The Pouf part seems to be more dense than a regular Pouf and it's not as rough as some. Worked well with the Snake Peel Scrub.

3% H2O2 is a common antiseptic and may also be used as a mouthwash and teef whitener (much less costly than the heavily branded/marketed crap).

Embarassingly, I learned something aboot Pears soap just recently after having used it for many years. I never liked the shape of a new bar as it sports a depression and relatively sharp ridges which take awhile to wear smooth. However, it is actually purposedly designed that way to hold the last remains of the previous bar thus preventing wasteage -they will actually meld together!

Nope.

I use a bar of soap and a wash cloth.

Same here. No point spending 10 - 30 times the price of bar soap for essentially the same product.

I'm not sure how much bodywash you guys use at each shower vs. amount of soap used, but I have found that a given dollar amount of body wash lasts approximately as long as the same dollar amount of soap.

Especially if you use a poof or something similar. You probably use half amount of body wash with a poof than you do just squirting it into your hands and rubbing it around.

word. body wash + poof = cheaper than bar of soap. and it doesn't leave my skin dry!

Well?

some of the men's bodywashes can make a guy smell good enough to eat🙂

But a man keeping his man card is much more important than a woman potentially wanting to eat him.

it's weird how all the things I do that so many men laugh at me for and say "AH HA you loose your man card!" make getting a female that much easier.

I don't shower every day. I'm not particularly stinky.
When I shower I use bar soap (lever 2000) on my pits, groin, face\ears. Once a week I use a washcloth in those regions to scrub well.

I've never had any complaints or noticed any funk.

I do shower well after working out, or physical labor though.

best for periodic use, not on a long term basis.

Try some Kirk's, you will never go back to regular soap...
This man speaks the truth. Friends of my family would require us to bring down cases of this stuff whenever we visited them.

I tried out some bodywash a few months back, what a waste of time and money.
The loofas work well, so I use them. Now I just roll with barsoap.

I kinda feel sorry for you schmucks who use axe products. Do most of you enjoy smelling like a highschooler? I hope thoes of you who use that axe bodywash crap don't also use that godawful body spray.

This new bodyspray fad is catering to thoes who don't want to take the effort and spend the money to use a decent cologne. Really, do you need strongly scented bodywash, with heavily scented deodorant and topped off with obnoxious cheap bodyspray? Do you enjoy smelling like you just walked out of a yankee candle store?

The whole 'keep it simple stupid' saying really applies here. This newfound obsession with heavily scented bodywashes and sprays is getting ridiculous.

Hey, this guy knows what he's talking about! Kirk's soap is awesome. I've only found it at our local grocery store.

I haven't tried the bodywash fad yet, even though I got a free bottle for Christmas... Just a bar of soap and washcloth for me.

Bar (dove white or plain ivory) soap and a rag once in a while works for me. Nice cologne in moderation when going out (not cheap stuff). Plain degree deodorant.

I am intrigued by Kirk's, never having heard of it. I loathe the likes of Dove. It is like trying to wash with lard... perfurmed lard.

And to people using perfumes of whatever variety (soap, deodorant, body spray, cologne): do not over do it, or better yet just stop. I should not have to hold my breath every time you stinkers pass by and Vishnu forbid we must actually occupy the same space for any length of time. Increasingly, I have noticed even runners leaving a perfumed stink trail behind them. It is really rather repugnant... like being assaulted by a skunk.

Dove has basic white but it's hard to find unfortunately. It has no scent it's just basic soap. I don't ever use scented soap.

Whilst not meaning to misspell perfumed, somehow perfurmed is fitting in context of lard (like idjit speak) 😉

I have no complaints about the natural uncented scent of Pears. Again, most folks would do well not to "over do it". Less is more.
