my school is primarily asian, and i see kids with corollas, civic, old accords and camrys, ONE GUY WITH A PREVIA!!

only a couple of bmws, and even then, they are the older ones . . .

no kidding. asian parents trust toyota and honda generally, reliability and resale. most don't spend on bmw unless they are really well off. asian parent strict u know. high standards.... most chinese people i know would laugh in your face if u asked them if they'd buy a luxury car for their kid. maybe a hand me down, but thats about it.

I prefer a manual, but prefer the window switches on the door. I don't think it's a big deal either way, but other things being equal I'd rather have them on the door.

Asians who grew up in the states or Asian Exchange students?
All my asian friends who grew up in the states drive cars just like regular American Joes. On the other hand, most of my Asian friends who are exchange students do drive BMWs.
