Blue Screens in XP?

Random BSOD's could only be memory. The only thing I can think of, then, is to try another brand of memory, or another type of the same brand, one wich you know that is compatible with your mobo, for sure. Also, you should test it with a clean install(format) because your system files may be corrupted.

Try Abit forums for your specific chipset. There you'll probably find issues that are specific to you model. My NF7 for example works best when you install memory models from DIMM3 to DIMM1. Such things that you probably won't find in "generic" forums 😛
 
Well, I called Kingston and they said my memory was correct for the mobo. They even sent me another stick..... So I've tried 2 different sticks of Kingston and the Elixer
 
Damn, been good for the last week... now I just got a completley random blue screen while reading my email :brokenheart:
 
dude, if you did all the things I said and couldn't find *any* clue, I don't know what else to do. It must be something very specific of your hardware. The last thing you can try is the forums for each manufacturer of your mobo, hd, chipset, and add-on cards. Wish you luck 🙁

I would at least try the step-by-step installation once again. If you do it right, it should take at least a week(running all full tests for each modification). You can try and research about the errors you're getting in eventviewer too.

hi mike sorry to here your problem i too am having blue screen problems but mine are saying
[stop: coooo21a (fatal system error) the windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of oxoooooo5 (oxoooooooo oxoooooooo)

I've actually started to get them a lot again. Got one yesterday when running a virus scan twice in a row 🙁

just uploaded it as memory-nags.zip

I even got a blue screen while compressing the file the first time. Latley they've all been driver related but they NEVER tell me what driver.
