don't come here telling that the site which favours your green view of the world is the only site to refer for game benchmarks. :D

within a month you are gaining a reputation fast exceeding sontin and keys.

LMAO look at what you post, you don't think anyone who is reading this that isn't an AMD fanboy is crying of laughter at you?
The funniest part is when anandtech themselves publish reviews that have NV ahead, all of the AMD fanboys talk about how anandtech is shit LMAO yet they are here on the forums. It is hilarious.

exactly LOL this forum is hilarious. it's actually very entertaining making all these fanboys run around on youtube explaining why reviews are wrong and they know so much better.

nobody is stupid to go by a single review. people know to check multiple reviews before arriving at an understanding of performance in a particular game.

... in almost every review, bioshock is favoured by NV. oh my god. lmao this is too much.

Have you acknowledged that the 680 is getting beat overall?

/being trolled

Being beat overall in what titles?
Took how long for AMD to catch up in performance to the 680. By then, everyone moved on from those games. Look at BF3 and how long it took AMD to catch up. Every game being released NV is performing better in. Sorry buddy, truth hurts.

what reviews are you talking about ? are they gameplay benchmarks. there are sites who test the in game benchmark which has been criticized in past games like hitman absolution and sleeping dogs as not being representative of real gameplay performance. sites like guru3d and techspot use the in game benchmark. techreport and linus use actual gameplay benchmarking

Pretty sure [H] was one of the first to voice opposition to fixed bench testing and have been doing actual IG tests for quite awhile.

Surely you know theres a big difference between a 660 and 660ti (used in the H review). :sneaky:

I said the HD 7970 Ghz and GTX 680 are similarly related in performance as the HD 7870 and GTX 660. on average HD 7870 is faster than GTX 660. same for HD 7970 Ghz vs GTX 680.

correct. I only said the linus tests and techreport tests are also actual gameplay benchmarks and they too are representative of the performance in this game.

You want me to start cherry picking titles that AMD wins in? Maybe your sponsor to provide you with the details next time.

Fine I'll bite. Running through a 670 mini review.

7970 GHz is faster in almost every game they benched.

It looks you two managed to pull out basically the only games the 680 is faster in.

What a troll.

Funny, 3 reviews basically affirming the same findings, the NV is faster than AMD in Bioshock Inf... and its not enough for many AMD folk.

AMD is behind in some of the more recent games, yes, no secret. One thing you have to remember is that these are all driver optimization related and AMD is working hard right now to hash the crossfire issues for the new 7990 Malta release. They are due for another release very soon, I think this next release will be a "fix all" driver too.

BTW folks, this is about Bioshock Infinite, not about AMD vs Nvidia in all games, lets not derail the thread.

I wouldn't have bothered but the evidence is clear. OP and sontin are trying to pretend like the 680 is somehow faster atm. (Which hasn't changed the 7970 GHz is still clearly faster)

I don't see what the op is even talking about. The min FPS is about 1 fps higher on nvidia. The max fps is higher, but in either case you will be above your monitor's refresh rate so who cares. A 1 fps difference isn't really a victory, it's essentially a tie.

1 fps is "a lot better", seriously?

When there is more of a FPS gap in between that usually means that there is more microstutter. So since the AMD cards have lower max frames, it could be running smoother as a result. Probably undetectable at this point but a thought nonetheless.

And if a fanboy wants to argue about this, I will just post Keys' frame testing NV discussion fail thread. Remember what NV users tell you, max FPS do not matter anymore. This has to apply to AMD here too now.
