I think his point is that Blacks are having a disproportionate number of abortions and that is the connection between abortion and a drop in crime.

At any rate, it is a very uncomfortable fact, for anti abortion nuts, that when abortion is made available the crime rate shows a marked drop in about 19 years.

Remember.. this is also partially based on the lack of resources available to them to hire GOOD LAWYERS... and the racism still held by juries and prosecutors and law enforcement officials.

Not near the rate of blacks. Go look at some FBI stats. 20x the murder and armed robbery rates as whites. In fact whites in USA don't commit much more crime than thier lilly white counterparts in New Zealand, Switzerland and other "model" nations. Deal with it.

I don't know why he'd make such an obvious statment though if he's not willing to carry out his eugenic program. Can only invite racist charges.:roll: Our problem in this country is giving them free benefits, housing them in crime infested areas and finishing off thier adolecent education with crimminal finishing school called prison. We need to address the problem with more benovolence, instruction and tuff love IMHO. Work = get somthing. Don't work don't get nothing. Also lealizing drugs would help tremendously taking profit motive and gangland activity out of the inner city equation..

Interesting link, but like most statistics, I don't think it says what you think it says 😛

The link suggests a greater percentage of blacks go to jail than do whites. If there is an exclusive relationship between going to jail and committing a crime, then yes, your conclusion is valid. However, there are other factors that probably influence your chances of going to jail, my guess is that the chance of going to jail IF you commit a crime is not the same for all people.

I'm not saying your conclusion isn't true, I'm just saying that study hardly proves it 🙂
 
IMO this is yet another instance of how conservative radio hosts seem to be in an arms race to out-conservative one another. Another example is Rush Limbaugh's recent reference to Mayor Nagin as "Mayor Nager."
 
this is basically why I have changed my tune on abortion. I've given in to the fact that most aborted babies are the offspring of undesireables, and have a high chance of themselves becoming undesireables.

Imagine how much worse Katrina would have been if there had been no abortion? There'd have been about 20,000 more people staying in their houses waiting to be rescued or out looting stuff.

Also, more abortions = less democrats so I'm all for that.

I seem to have noticed the high profile white collar crime is mostly committed by Waspy Christians... do you think we have enough bullets to shoot them all?

The statistics that show more crime as a percentage based on skin color compared to population may be a result of racism. Not necessarily in bias in arrests but in the experience of black people living in America.
Not to mention if you look at crime by wealth you see a far greater correllation. The poor committ more crimes. White or Black.

Besides, he stated that it was a morally reprehensible thing in the first place so I don't get the issue. He never stated anything that would lead a logical thinking person to say "He's racist" unless they just listened to the libs in congress only half quote his statement.

I can take any statement made by Ghandi and make him sound like a death loving Hitler if I don't use his statements in context. Not that I expect most people on this board to understand a statement can be true, negative AND not supported by the person that makes the statement. That would be insensitive and should never be spoken. It might offend someone that isn't able to use logic to understand what is being said.
