Don't dismiss the cancelation rumor so easily. The first "report" came from the UK first of all and Nintendo of Europe (NOE) IS a separate entity. I called up Nintendo of America (NOA)and asked about it. The representative laughed when I said why the Broadband Adapter cancelation rumor came about ("It is said that you can now pirate games through the Broadband Adapter"). She said that it was DEFINITELY a rumor then because she's never heard anything about being able to pirate GC games. Shows how clueless the reps are about all this at this point: Normally they follow a script when you bring something like that up, so they haven't even been told about the new exploit. I'd expect NOA to follow suit if NOE really did pull the BBA.

I noticed this too. And I am wondering how the game registration will be verified since I plan on getting a second game to go with Mario Kart. Mario Party 5 comes out Nov10. Maybe there's something inside that can be used on Nintendo's site to register? Anyone want to do a little checking to see how the proceess will be like?Originally posted by: KrayzieKMF
starting nov 17th gamecubes will be bundled with the zelda bonus disk
if you already own a cube you can also get the bonus disk by subscribing to nintendo power or by registering your cube and 2 games (2 games must be either mario kart, mario party 5, mario & luigi or 1080 avalanche)
more info here
bonus disk includes zelda i & 2 (NES), the 2 zeldas from N64 and a demo of wind walker

Hey, not sure if anybody realizes it, but Nintendo has been using the exact same video cables since Super NES, so if you have S-video Cables for your Super NES or N64, you can use that with your Gamecube.
I had one for Super NES back in the day so I dug it up. Works great!
