Damn, I missed that flyer. I'll have to have my friend pick one up. Is it on a seperate flyer, or is it one of those coupons thats in the middle of a catalog?
One of them is $25 MIR for Pokemon + GBA. The other one is the $5/$15/$25 rebate form.![]()
:| :| gah! I was looking right AT that thing, but I read the pokemon coupon, and then for some reason didn't look at the next one.

Tiger and NFL look absolutely brand new, and smugglers has the barest hint of a scratch. I am more than pleased.

You guys have some great Blockbusters by you. All I ever see is crap for 19.99-29.99 at the one I check.
No answer for you, but I don't think you'll need warranty on the Cube as much so on the Sony product. Sony is notorious for planned depreciation (grrr...not sure if that's the proper term...) on their cheap stuff. Bottom line is that Sony's cheap-in-price products also tend to be still overpriced and also low quality; the only guarantee to get a quality Sony product is to go all-out, no-expense-spared. Unfortunately the PS2 falls in that category of cheap-in-price (relative to complexity of the components), and cheap-in-quality (hence the corner-cutting). I once heard that about a third of all PS sales were for replacements. In case you didn't know, that new Nintendo-centric Capcom studio fronted by RE-creator Shinji Mikami was created out of his personal spite over having wasted $600 of personal money on two PS2's and having them die. His anger is that of a ripped-off consumer. Mind you I'm not talking about games at all, just the integrity of the hardware. I certainly hope Sony finally makes a system that will properly read discs without having to be turned sideways...Anyone know how much BB or CC's replacement warranty is for the cube? I'm so glad I got it for my PS2 since it died on me!

Has anyone had any luck finding Gamecube controllers at Costco for $9.77?!?!?
Yeah, Nintendo products have always been rock solid.

Another tidbit I read from "The History of Video Games" book. Not too relevant to the situation on hand, but I found it interesting. Sony was originally the company that was supposed to license the optical disc technology that the Gamecube was going to use, but Nintendo backed out of the deal at the last minute and went with Philips or Panasonic or something like that. Sony, after learning a lot about consoles with their brief partnership with Nintendo, decided to say "f@ck it! I'm making my own console." And hence the PlayStation. I'm sure Nintendo has been kicking themselves in the butt ever since. In case you didn't know, that new Nintendo-centric Capcom studio fronted by RE-creator Shinji Mikami was created out of his personal spite over having wasted $600 of personal money on two PS2's and having them die.
I bought it online last week and it arrived this week. I also went to my local retail Costco but I didn't see any Gamecube stuff.Has anyone had any luck finding Gamecube controllers at Costco for $9.77?!?!?
