For those of you who can't find a Target with those enormous clearances deals, EBgames is now discounting some of their EA Sports games: NBA Live 2003, Tiger Woods 2003, NHL 2003 all for $19.99. If you wait a little bit, these prices should be reflected in-store as well.

Anybody know the fastest way to unlock the games in SMB2? Uggh, I'm getting incredibly bored playing through these stages over and over again. I'm suffering here.

anyways, for those of us who are looking for decent zelda deal:
1. go to CC .. they have free gamecube game case (sold at 5$ at target or 8$ at CC)
2. if your CC accepts competitor coupon, get the 5$ off from target
3. don't forget to pick up 5$ strategy guide while you're there ... personally, the "bonus artwork" sucks, but for 5$, it's not that bad
if you have better suggestions for zelda, feel free to add ...
as far as super monkey ball 2 (got mine for 30$ at EB yesterday -- gosh, the game is rare!!)...
the game (story mode) can get repetitive .... not to mention hard to collect all those bananas
unfortunately, there's no fast and easy way to unlock the 6 extra games ... i want to play soccer and tennis!! ><;;

through the price matching dance. Luckily everyone on the planet has lowered the price, so it was
easy to come up with places to try that actually had it in stock (finally ended up pricematching
Toys 'R Us!). Since they were pricematching they wouldn't let me use the $5 gamer's coupon, but
at least I was able to prod them to do the 110% pricematch.
No luck on finding SMB around town (Salt Lake City) though. Last week this same BB had a bunch

There's no reason they shouldn't let you pricematch and use the gamer's coupon... I've done it before several times. As long as the final price is over $19.99, you should be able to apply the coupon!
It must depend on if you get someone friendly or not. The girl that I got was only so-so; although she did wait
on the phone for over 20 minutes waiting for a price verification...she did seem somewhat satisfied when the
first store she called said that they didn't have it in stock and that they "only pricematched if it was in stock"...
I've had mixed luck at the particular BestBuy that I've gone to. When I got my GameCube I went to both BB's in
my area to see if they'd honor the free game deal with the SMS bundle and was told no at both. It was only once
I had given up and went back to buy the normal bundle that salesguy I talked to suggested that I should get the
SMS bundle, since it was a much better deal because you also got the free game! I was flabbergasted to say the
least!
I recently got a Nyko 64mb Memory card for the GC at BB for $15 after $5 gamer's coupon. Thus far it works great and is sturdily built.
I think this is a great bargain considering that Nintendo's 251 card (16 MB) costs $20.

BB also has a Pelican Wireless radio contoller for the GC--range and response is GREAT!. Plus, it has turbo and rumble, which Nintendo's wireless contoller doesn't have. It's $25 after $5 coupon.

Circuit City is selling the Gamecube for $129 with the standard free game until March 29th. Order the memory card and extra controller from Costco.com.
not a bad deal but you have to be careful with 3rd party memory cards, i've heard a ton of horror stories and tend to just stick to first party ones, the 251 will hold plenty of saves anyway.
I may get one of those 64 mem cards and take my chances on the save.
Picked up hockey and football for cheap and they use a memory card each alone just to save. The card costs more than the games did.

I think your best bet would be to get Target to PM, Circuit City's 129$ price on the system. Target has a bunch of the free games(Metroid, Mario party 4, Star Fox, Mario Sunshine) packaged with a Nintendo mem 251. That would run you 129 for a game a mem card and the system. Then go to best buy and use a gamer's gift card to get a wavebird.
It's a seperate flyer with two cutouts on the bottom.
One of them is $25 MIR for Pokemon + GBA. The other one is the $5/$15/$25 rebate form.
The wavebird is $29.99 @ Target and $34.99 @ BB. Just buy it all at Target (assuming they'll do the PM, the one I work at won't PM BB or CC).

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the bonus disks for Zelda. I was called yesterday by my local EB Games to pick up my copy and they asked me that if I wanted I could trade in my bonus disks and get an additional $10 off. So for those of you guys that didn't get them you might find a used copy at EB Games or possibly online. Just an FYI to keep a look out for.
BTW, no deal info here but I picked up Zelda on Monday night from EB and the game is so sweet!

With the 16x clocking in at over 1000 blocks (it's 8MBytes, the same as a standard PS2 memory card), that means that it's best to use with games that take up 10+ blocks instead of games that only use 1-2 blocks per save file.
I am suprised with how little save data most Cube games use though. I was going to buy one of these bigger memory cards when I got my Cube, but decided to wait until I filled up the 59 that came with it. Still haven't yet and just bought my 8th game.
