Aw, man, you're killing me! I just got a GC a couple weeks ago and I'm desperately trying to make my way through Metroid before Zelda comes out! I have to work SOMETIME...

I managed to get a Zelda pre-order with the free Master Quest disc. I had to visit four stores but I finally found one (EB) that had some bonus discs still in stock. The manager at the store told me they pre-ordered 1200 copies and they only had 12 pre-order spots left. Talk about coming right down to the wire.

I started playing Ocarina again and it seems different because of the changed controller layout. I also noticed some clipping and framerate slowdowns that don't occur in the native N64 version.

I'm thinking Best Buy might be the best way to go, if you use the $5 off coupon on the back on the Gamer Gift Cards. You should be able to get SMB2 for $25 if they have it for $29.99 in store. Can anyone confirm Best Buy has it in store for $29.99?

Just PM EB games and use $5 off coupon. They have $49.99 on the website, but I think it will drop very soon as it looks like $29.99 is the standard price now.

I saw Super Monkey Ball (the first one) on clearance for $15 at CompUSA, so I picked it up. It's pretty fun...my younger cousins love it. Her dad told her to stop playing that game so much and she started crying...lol.

EBGames.com still has Windwaker on Pre-Order for shipment on Monday with the extra game discs. Most other stores are out of these discs and have stopped taking preorders. This game is on sale for 49.99 still also.

I don't know if this has already been posted, but Circuit City has both Indigo and Jet Black Gamecubes for $129.99 with free shipping on their web site right now. You also get the Nintendo free game offer.

Yesterday @ My Best Buy I saw Street Hoops for $29.99 & UFC Throwdown for 19.99.
Also at a KB Toys i saw WWE Crush Hour for $19.99, Is it worth that? Because it supposed to be a new game.

Circuit City has an a nice, exclusive deal on the Prima Official Strategy Guide for "Zelda: Wind Waker" in this week's flyer -- only $4.99 ! This guide is normally $14.99, so it's $10 off. Also, they throw in a free collector's artbook with the purchase, so this is a pretty sweet deal.

Says it's available on the 25th -- if anyone finds the guide on the shelves early, please post.

i've seen some of the circuit-city-special zelda:windwaker strategy guide.
yesterday i saw them in circuit city in mountain view, near highway 85 and el camino
i didn't know those are 5$ ... otherwise i would've gotten one myself ....

as for free game with gamecube: when you buy a system, the guy will usually scan a coupon, then scan the free game, making the price from 150 to 200 then back to 150 ... that's when you get the free game (at least that's how it was when i bought mine in target)

i'm thinking of PM-ing EBGames to bestbuy to get super monkey ball for 25$ (after gift card)
so, do i just go there, get the gift card, go back, and PM super monkey ball 2, then show them the coupon? or ... how does it work? or, hmmm... maybe i'll just go find out myself ...

Thanks for pointing this out. I picked it up from my local CompUSA for $19.88. Others looking for it should check with the Customer Service desk if they don't see it on the shelf. There were none on display at my store (South Charlotte), but the computer showed four in stock. I went ahead and grabbed Super Monkey Ball 2 for $29.99 as well.

SMB2 is worth owning for Monkey Target alone

Not that the rest of the game is bad or anything -- on the contrary, it's strangely addicting for a game I once thought would be lame. But multiplayer Monkey Target is hilarious !

monkey target is so much fun... and my friend is ADDICTED to that particular game -_-
i personally luv monkey fight A LOT... its so much fun.... all the mini games r awesome... SMB2 is definitely a must buy

HOT DEAL..... they r sealed n wrapped.... plenty of them on the shelves in Pomona, CA.... im pretty sure its the same case for other CC around here too.... too bad they dunt have the game itself out on the shelves early =P

On the web site, you have to pay full price for both and they give you a MIR for the game

I'm sure there shouldn't be a problem showing the web price to the B&M store and getting them to match if it's different.
