BG2 AT style, anyone? *we need to get a night!*

I may not make it this time either. I met an old high school friend back on Friday. He and I used to DnD together back in the early 80s, but he's NEVER played BG or NWN. I'm probably going to go to his house, fix his computer (which he says is big time infected) and show him BG and NWN.
 
Ah, this brings back memories. I played BG2 with some friends locally to Syracuse and had fun. We mulitplayed it also. We started with Icewind Dale and then moved on the BG2 and IWD2 and the expansions.

Fun times!
 
We're going to try to play again tonight. For those interested, drop into the Ventrilio server around 6. Remember, it's okay to show up late, we can always add people in mid-game.

As to where we are right now, we're in the Underdark. Due to the bitch-and-a-half the Mind Flayers are, we stopped last night in their lair because we were dying so often and it takes forever to reload the game after the "main" character dies. I finished it up solo before I went to bed last night, so we're heading to the silver dragon next.

Why? If you're talking about strategies for dealing with the mind flayers, the nest is already cleaned out.
 
it's been a while guys - userman suggested we start back up. i'm on break for the next 3 weeks, so i have nothing else to do 😛

I'm probably game when I go back for winter break. Me away from desktop + winter break from 12/20 - 1/16 = very bored me.

Not the mechanics, but what you exactly do.

Are you just going through the various missions as a group or is it something else?


Also... to answer Shorty's question about Nalia's ring. I think you need the ring to open a certain door or mission. Essentially without her in the party there is something you can't do, but I forgot what it was because it has been so long.

Yeah. We play the quests and are now into the expansion pack. Wed is good for me.

I know of another server but it is privet. Let me know who will be playing tonight via PM and I will send the info.
