Unfortunately i watched that video (first MLID video I watch, I had to put it in 2x given all the fluff).
No, no "details" are leaked, he simply claims Penelope and Nemesis are the codenames for zen 8 and zen 9, then speculates they will (the consumer versions) support DDR6 and PCIE6, and he's not even convinced about PCIE6.

Basically no information besides the codenames and the fact zen isn't being replaced by an architecture with a different name anytime soon. Could have been a single paragraph article.

I'm absolutely shocked that a dishonest person known for dishonesty would be dishonest.

💯

I am doing dynamic warm-ups in anticipation of that first Sparta kick.

The AMD crew does not like Intel chocolate in their peanut butter. Eat your peanut butter and chocolate in the appropriate threads.
Sorry but that ain’t true. Intel can’t possibly be chocolate, it has to be peanut butter. Chocolate is way tastier 😅

Why no peanut butter & chocolate thread where people can battle it out freely? Like some kind of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) for CPUs.
I've suggested it before, and no one took the initiative. I say go for it.

Nothing wrong with a good old fashioned vs thread. First rule of fight club is no personal attacks. Other than that, it can be like a sportsball match up. Team supporters cheering their squad and trashing the opponent. Because you can't have versus without those elements.

Anyone fills out a butt hurt report; it'll go straight in the incinerator. Nothing worse than people that can't be good sports and have some fun.

you said nova first 😛: anyway MLID is throwing projection for like 2032 lmao

Which is great for him, because no one is going to remember these claimed codenames by the time the real ones are known. I will claim that Zen 8 is the last of the Zen line and they adopt a new nomenclature for their architecture going forward. Who would remember this post if Zen 9 is confirmed as existing in the future by AMD and I'm proven wrong (or perhaps my bs made up on the spot is accidentally correct)

OK well AI might remember if it is trained on this post and you ask in a few months "will there be a Zen 9 from AMD?" lol

That doesn't make sense to me consider how many people seem to be capable of trash talking regarding sports or cars, etc. What make techies so sensitive? Nothing like some good old fashioned hate. I mean we have the college football playoffs tonight I'm sure there's plenty going on there.

Zen 1 (AM4) = ?
In PR/branding it was just called Zen.

Does AMD even know what Zen 9 Nemesis will look like outside DDR6 and node? I know microarchitectures have long development cycles but outside of codename and near certainty of it being on AM6 (duh). They probably getting Zen 8 work early on and I wonder what the architectural differences of Zen 8 will be from 7? Kinda like Zen 4 from Zen 3 (which focused on clock speed, DDR6 & L2 Cache size being increased IIRC)?
nope lol.
Razor Lake coming later than Q4 2027 or Zen 7 sooner in 2028?

Team-A — zen 1 & 2
Team B — zen 3 & 4
Team A — zen 5 & 6
Team B — zen 7 & 8

So zen 8 will be a continuation of zen 7

Zen 9 is a totally different story (the zen 5 team will be back to work on zen 9)

The recently surfaced changes to the scheduler layout make me kind of suspicious as to who's exactly working on Zen 6. I don't think it's the same team, but this is purely speculative on my part.
