Beyond Bankruptcy(TM).

I tried Beyond Meat once just out of curiosity. It's not terrible, but it's no replacement for real meat, and it's worse for the environment (way more processing and mining involved for all the chemicals etc) and it's also much worse for you nutritionally. If I'm going to cheat and eat processed food I rather just go to McDonald's or something.

Up there with - "Milk, it does a body good!", "Got milk?", and "the incredible edible egg!"

I eat beef critter, but I like to supplement it for various reasons. I'd miss beyond products. Hopefully someone else will buy them when the time comes.

I don't have a whole foods near me, do they have their own label?
I don't know - I don't even know where the nearest whole food might be. I'm fairly partial to New York Strip steaks.

Disclaimer: My only experience with Beyond meat "artificial meat" products is limited to Burger King's Impossible Whopper and while it wasn't terrible aside from a slightly odd texture I could barely tell the difference.

Frankly the rare times I eat beef I want actual beef not beef-like plant paste. 😉

Edit: Brain-lock lol .... its right there in the name no excuses.

Burger king is made by Impossible. It's the only thing I can eat from Burger King. I've also bought either Beyond or Impossible meat patties from Krogers and the one that gets a crispy crust when frying is my favorite. I don't buy them unless they are on sale though.

I hope Beyond can hang on until increasing beef prices make alternatives more attractive. Also a plant based meat if more appealing to me rather than something grown in a lab.
