Better ink then Megatoners IMO even Epson's ink.

hello all. I also went ahead and tried out swiftink (what a great marketing thread eh?) and I must say it is one of the better generic inks I have used in awhile. For those of you who are wondering, I do still believe that the more expensive "OEM" ink are still better, but seriously, for the price and for the quality (which is near OEM) swiftink is defintely one of the better ways to go. Thanks swiftink, will be ordering again!

For those who purchased the Brother ink. Although it's not the same high-quality as the US ink I carry, it's going to change very soon. In a matter of days, the LC31's will be USA ink, and in about two weeks, the LC41's will be USA ink.

Stay tuned.

yeah i will.

Hey Swift Ink,
I was looking at you Web site and input my printer Canon ip4000. When the information returned it shows cartridges BCI-6PC and BCI-6PM. Are they different from BCI-6C and BCI-6M? My manual doesn"t show the Photo cartridges.😕

Hello,

I do not believe your printer uses the BCI-6PC and BCI-6PM. The reason they are there is because of the way the compatibilites were listed on Canon's Web site. I'm will look into this and make necessary modifications.

In any case, I do not think you need the photo cartridges.

i have the ip3000 and on the back of the manual it shows you use bci-68k and bci-3e8k for your blacks and bci-6y, 6m and 6c for colors. the manual is for both 3000 and 4000.

btw swift, i'm going to give you a shot on my next order. i love to see companies following threads here. and thanks OP for the heads up.

Just as a testimonial for all cautious buyers:
Purchased 2xblack cart's for my Epson CX6400. $18 shipped, received via USPS in 3 days. Popped one in, works perfectly. Epson software complains when I try to print that its not an original cartridge, but other than that no problems.
Thx SwiftInk!

Thank you for the great testimonial. Yes, it's perfectly normal for Epson's software to detect that it's not a genuine cartridge. No worries, it will work perfect nonetheless 🙂

You guys actually can try out the bulk ink system:

http://www.InkRepublic.com

They have great ink as well as system that can save you tons of money.
Besides, their chipset can avoid cleaning cycles which means they can save you ink wasted in cleaning cycle.

Many people are pleased by their system a lot:

I would but the $275 price tag for pigment ink kills itfo rme. Now whin I become rich (or muc better off then I am now) it will be a different story.

I got my Swift inks in the other day. I printed out a test page and also did a CD. It looked fine. Total for six inks plus an extra black ink came up to just over $50 so I could get free shipping. Looks good so far, I'll post again if I encounter any problems. Thanks for the find, OP! Saved me like $30 🙂

Edit: Used them on my Epson R200 in case you're wondering...

For the ink and kit from InkRepublic.com, the price of $275 is not only 600ml dye ink, but also their "kit" - bulk ink system.

their ink is pretty cheap and the quality is as good as Epson's.

If you do some calculation, you will know you can save tons of money.
if you have bought the 2 sets of ink cartridges for your R200/R300 or other system, you can actually use those money to buy a system from InkRepublic.com, besides you can get so much more ink from them rather than a cartridge (13ml at most)

http://www.inkrepublic.com/ink.asp?item=D100
http://www.inkrepublic.com/ink.asp?item=P050

their dye ink is 13.95/100ml, pigment ink is $14.30/50ml
plus it's FREE shipping, I guess it's nothing but Good Deal..... unbeatable....

all you need is to pay for the bulk ink system, and it's one time only charge. no mention about you can actually use the same unit on R300, RX500, RX600, even R800, R1800 ...etc. Their parts can be used on different models. In a long run, it can save much more than you could expect.

not a big fan of CIS systems, don't print enough to make it useful. but inkjetgoodies.com is also a place to look into those if that's what you're looking for.

Thanks OP. Placed an order today.
I've always been doubtful of 3rd party reman cartridges screwing up my printers. The customer service on this thread alone won me over though.

i purchased black , yellow, cyan, and magenta ink cartrideges for my epson stylus cx4600 printer from swift ink. i have used a black ink cartidge and i must say i can't tell a difference. i will be buying all my ink from swift ink in the future 🙂

Placed my order with Swiftink. It was twice that of Monster, but with the reviews here, I thought I'd try it and still save 50% from Retail inks.

*On topic*

Nice ink from Swiftink. Ordered some myself.

*Off Topic*

After doing a quick thread search on posts TMY has authored....

Is it just me, or is the -only- thing this guy posts adverts for InkRepublic?

I've yet to see a post that was NOT an outright advert for InkRepublic when I searched for his nick.

Who makes the ink in your cartridges? I ise either repeatotype or Kimberly Clark (Sensient-formulabs). Arrowjet uses this in their carts. Rainbow (a Texas company) (and Nectron) uses a German ink.
There are also a couple of Canadian ink manufacturers.
I'm paying less than $1.50 for a BCI-24 black with Sensient ink for example. $1.10 for a Rainbow BCI-24 black. BCI-3's and 6's are about $.50 to $.60 more.

Mac

If you want to know what inks are the best and where to buy them...I do have a lot of information.
