Epson uses all pigment inks for the colors and black in their recent printers (since when they began advertizing long-life prints) so, according to Azo, all the Swift inks will be pigment-based.

Exactly. If Epson or Canon use pigment in a particular cartridge, we will always use pigment. However, if a particular OEM cartridge is dye, ours will be too. We always match the OEM-specifications.

Azo313, hows your quality for cx5200 carsts? I tried megatoners right now and its horrible. its like there is ink in the cartridge, but it only comes out when i'm trying to print photos...whichis never often. the text is absoteluyl unreadable so i'm thinking about you guys. Will you guys do more than the "customer service" that megatoner's provides?

The CX5200 cart's come off the same exact quality assembly-line as the rest of the Epson/Canon compatibles. I guarantee you would be extremely happy with the quality. As for customer service, try me.

I believe the epson r200 oem cartridges are dye based...not pigment based. Do you guys know if Swiftink provides dye or pigment based generic inks for r200? And also, is pigment always better than dye? If so, i don't understand why epson's line of photo printers don't use pigment inks instead, and they're regular printers like the c86 does.

I haven't tested the ink, yet. But for shipping.. WOW! Swift Ink is fast. I ordered on Saturday (Feb. 12) and got my package today (Feb. 14). I'll let you know when I test the ink in a few days.
I finally replaced my old black cartridge with Swift Ink's. I have an S600 printer. When I installed the new cartridge, my status monitor is only showing that my new ink cartridge is only half full. What gives?

Normally when you switch cartridges, the printer automatically adjusts the ink settings. However, sometimes this isn't the case. It isn't actually a problem with the cartridge. You simply needs to go into your printer settings and click on the tab for ink management. There should be a way to manually reset the ink detection so that it displays the true ink quantity.

For those who purchased the Brother ink. Although it's not the same high-quality as the US ink I carry, it's going to change very soon. In a matter of days, the LC31's will be USA ink, and in about two weeks, the LC41's will be USA ink.

I did that. I even took off the cartridge and put it back on. I got the ink management utility from my Canon S600 to detect it a few times, and it is still showing as half-empty. I will try to figure it out again tonight.
This is actually the first time that I've experienced this problem.

Alright, I just turned on my computer and restarted my printer status monitor. The ink level is now displaying correctly. As far as the quality is concerned, it looks pretty good. I've only ordered the black ink, but I will be ordering some color inks eventually. Thanks Swift Ink!
