Better ink then Megatoners IMO even Epson's ink.

I saw this thread 10 days ago, carts for my Canon I950 were $6 each and the talk of a reduction was mentioned. Now the carts are $4 each and I'm in. Canon ink is $12 per cartridge, what are you complaining about?

I've been using Ink4Art for all my refill needs. On my Canon MP730 I've been printing all my wedding photos and things, and I've been going through carts like crazy.

Thats why I love Canon - they don't put BS technology into the carts and they cost me about 2 bucks a cart, compared to like 20$ for a Lexmark cart. They also don't clog the way Epson heads do.

Is this stuff better than Ink4art? If so I'll pay another dollar or two for the quality, even though I haven't had any problems with them.

do you have any backup for this?..........

A lot of it is from personal experience.
But you can do web searches and find a lot of boards discussing this.

We run a lot of Canon printers, do a lot of refilling, some generic carts and some continuous feed mechanisms.
Tried just about everything out there.
I like the formulabs/kimberly clark ink. Now its called Scensient.

They will even sell you a gallon for $50.

If you want less go here and get the arrowjet carts with the formulab ink. This guy Jorge sells carts with at least 3 kinds of inks. Ask him which one is the best.

He sells on E_bay at lesser prices.

My ex business partner is in the ink business and I know several other people in the business. Done a lot of testing. As you know I've been advising people on Anandtech about what printers to buy and not buy for years.

There are other decent inks as well but to tell you the truth the difference in canon inks seems to come down to the magenta.

Hello bogart,

It has taken place and nearly every cartridge has been reduced by 20-50%.

I used to get refills done online and it was hit and miss. The "fam" complained about the colors being off. I recently found a little shop in my own town that is cheap and the colors are perfect. They also give loaner cartridges so you have something to use while yours are being filled. Last time my color cartridge failed and he couldn't fill it so he said to keep the loaner. This is not to say that online is bad but that you might find good service close to home.

Hi Aziz,

I ordered some ink carts for my Epson R200 from you site a while back (they are on backorder) and could check the status of my order from your website. Since you changed it on Friday, I can no longer access my order to see if it has shipped. Can you help me out here? I have lost the order number.

PM me for my order info.

Thanks

Sure thing -- I will email you. Due to the delay, I'm going to include a free cartridge of every color you ordered (total 6 free cartridges). I hope this makes up for any extra money you had to spend due to running out.

Best regards,

Aziz M.

I just recieved my ink that I ordered from Swift Ink.
The color seems fine, but there was one problem. Be careful when you take the tabs off the tanks, at least the ones that work with Canon i850s. When I took mine off I got ink all over my hands. The little bit of space between the foam and the tab was filled with ink, and when I went to put them in my printer ink came out. I've never had this happen with Canon's cartridges.

Hello cRazYdood,

What city and state are you in? Maybe we have a problem at altitude, so we may need to adjust the vacuum inside the cart. Please let me know so I can bring it to the attention of production. After going through over 2,000 of those cartridges, this is only the second time I have heard this problem.

Thanks!

Aziz M.

Azo313,
Any chance that you might get T013201 and/or T014201 in stock for a Epson C40S printer?

We carry those --

T013 is our S020093
T014 is our S020089

They work as both.

Update on the Swift ink on my Epson R200...still works great! I pretty much only use it for printing on CDs now, and 4x6" pictures once in awhile (got a cheap laser for everything). Colors look great, no difference to me except much better price :)
