Best orange juice?

I have taken to drinking orange juice lately and have realized that there is a wide range of taste, consistency, and other attributes with orange juice.

My favorite is Simply Orange w/ calcium, although I think that all of the Simply Orange is awesome.

The worst is probably Minute Maid in my opinion, at least in the small bottles you find at a convenience store.

Simply Orange is my favorite, too. No pulp, medium pulp, high pulp, calcium, no calcium...whatever, they're all great. Their apple juice is really good, too.

Simply orange is the devil, I can drink a liter like a cup of water. I like their country stand or whatever they call it, basically with pulp but they gotta make it sound better.

What? nobody has posted that they make their own and its ten times better than anything they buy in the store yet?

I wasn't going to mention it, but they're unmatched in apple juice and limeade too.

Their apple juice is the closest thing I've ever had to the time that we pressed our own apple juice at my grandparent's apple orchard one year.

Haha...agreed. I used to work on an orchard myself (not family owned though) and it really is the closest thing. Love orchard cider though 😉 Truthfully, Simply Orange's Apple Juice is more like a cider. It isn't filtered like a juice at all.

Simply is the best I have had so far, but the price hurts sometimes.

My favorite is the fresh-squeezed at Abma's Farm Market, one of those outrageously high-priced specialty stores nearby. It's maybe $20 for a half gallon, but the stuff is as good as crack. I'm diabetic and can't have things like fruit juice, so that the rare times I go off my diet I want that cheating to be worth while, the very best.

I'm not sure what the big difference between the gallon jugs of Roberts or store brand juice and the Simply products. What do they do different?

Whats the difference between anything and anything else thats sold at any store? Try it and find out.

Some people have such horrible taste buds, they can't tell the difference between any brand of anything and anything else. Maybe you are one of those people.

lmao, I must not be one of those people, considering I just made three posts in the thread concerning the product and how great it tastes, then asking "What is it that Simply Orange does better?"

Well, I'm guessing its because they don't make it from a concentrate.

The less you know about the oj industry, the happier you are. Ignorance is truly bliss.

because it does taste better? but then again i haven't tried anything in the store that costs more than $2.50/carton heh. they're always more acidic and sweeter ( in a bad way ) to me than fresh squeezed. 99% of the time i'm too lazy to juice 5-10+ oranges though and i'm happy with whatever tropicana is on sale.

My wife and I were hooked on Simply orange juice for years, but then discovered Natalie's Orchid Island, which is a bit more expensive, but is the best orange juice (outside of picking them off the tree in our backyard) I have ever had.

We still buy Simply for apple juice and lemonade, but Natalie's is the new champ for us when it comes to OJ.

wife will not drink oj with pulp, but will take fibre power mixed into her drink...

I do like Simple Orange with Mango but they are expensive.

I usually buy Kroger OJ brand because they are the cheapest, $3.89/gal (just bought some last night).
