I have a Epson all in one, sucks because if you run out of the color cartridge you cant print with the black one either (wtf). HP is ok and the cheap Lexmarks Ive used sucks. Definitely gonna try Canon next.

I like canon.. I've always liked canon. I had a lexmark for a while, some deal where it was on sale for 19.99 and there was a 40.00 rebate.. it seemed like a no-lose deal and would have been if I'd just replaced it when it ran out of ink..

the low end or next to low end canon is always a good step up from what I have already wen I need a new one, and is always pretty cheap.. and there's usually a rebate. I like the seperate cartridges.. a lot. I like canon scanners too.. and they always have a good step up for cheap when I'm ready to do that.. so.. that's what I do.

I've got a Brother Laser HL-2070N that works well... customers I've sold Brother equipment seem to be generally happy with it...

For cheap all-in-one though, you really can't beat Lexmark... Not great quality, but it's cheap..

hp sux. canon all teh way. comparison on my own showed hp at work and canon at home. equal in value and stats. canon printed several docs/pics grapics in like 1/16thh of the time that hp did. same stuff printed from same file. hp took 3 min and canon took 30 sec. no comparison on detail either. canon rocks 🙂

Canon PIXMA for color inkjet. HP Laserjet for laser printers. Color lasers, I like the Xerox Phaser, but the warm up time really grinds my gears.

The old laserjets from HP are the best ones IMO. I am still using a HP LaserJet4 that is at least 10 years old.

same here. great for b/w text.

for color photos I prefer Canon however

Canon Inkjets are great and http://swiftink.com sells the best ink for low cost.

HP makes a inferior product nowadays and Epson has those chips in the cartidge to try and stop users from using third party ink and of course the waste so much ink in the cleaning cycle.
