I live next to a Popeyes. It's damn good. But I agree that El Pollo Loco has the best fast food CHICKEN period. But this thread is about fried chicken. In that case I pick Popeyes.

I've had Popeyes, KFC, Browns, and Lee's. Lee's is good, Browns is too Dry, KFC's is boring, Popeyes is MAGNIFICENT.

It's typical to vote for places you've eaten at when other choices on the poll are not available in your region. It's like asking southern people to vote for best fast food burger when In-N-Out is a west coast franchise and only whataburger is available in their region.

Yeah, goin with KFC for just fried. El Pollo is incredibly cheap. If anything, Charro is the overpriced one.

incredibly cheap? you get like 2 small ass pieces of chicken, 2 little sides and a few tortillas and it's like 7 bucks out here. I can eat 2 of their meals without much problem. El Pollo is one of the most expensive "fast food" places I've ever eaten at.

Certainly not here. That cost would grant a 6-piece meal, or 8 of just legs and thighs.
