If favorite game means:
1. The game that has the longest lasting value - Counter Strike (been playing for 5+ years, can't really stop playing forever)
2. Best game based on how enjoyable during the game time played - Baldur's Gate 1 (
3. Best console game - Xenogears (best story line in any RPG I've played)
4. Most memorable game - Final Fantasy II (IV in Japan, my first RPG, and the best old school RPG game ever)
5. Most addictive game over a short period - Diablo 2 (was hooked day and night, in the 2 months that it lasted)
6. Most addictive game over a long period - Everquest 1 (had the longest hours played of any game)
7. Most efforts put into a single game - Everquest 2 (graphics, voice overs, combat system, skill system, tutorial, design, etc)

So many good ones. I could have voted Elder Scrolls I: Arena, or FFI out of nastalgia, D2: LoD based on how much time I've spent playing itbut I went with Neverwinter Nights, what a great port of the D20 system.

Wow, 7 other ppl thought Civ 2 was the best game. :D I'm hoping Civ4 is great. Civ III was a bit of a disapointment, imho.

Too many choices. Should divide it up into brackets and pits 3 or 4 against each other and dwindle it down that way.

Holy hell ... that's an impressive list. I can't believe you had Seven Cities of Gold and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. But vote went to Fallout.

I own and have beaten about 30% of those, and have played around 80% to 90% of them.
