You definitely want to wear the polo shirt and pants. BBY interviews are cake, just make sure you speak at a proper volume and don't sound like a complete idiot and you will be fine. I worked at BBY for about six months.

Sounds like you're reason there's so much hate for BB.

I've never had any issue at my local BBs, but I always go in knowing what I want, its details/specs, and how much I should be paying for it. Never had an issue when I've asked an employee for help, usually in finding any item that I can't locate their shelves or for a specific device that only works with another specific device, that sort of thing.

OP, its a retail job, something go hand in hand with that, but I'd say BB isn't a bad place to start your first real job. Beats working fast food.

Thats how BB wants there employees to work, I personally spent my time with customers making sure the computer they wanted fit there needs.

And I snatched many stupid service plans on netbooks the 59.99 one, when I was new my co workers kept shoving me with the netbook people lol, assholes

I worked at BBY for 7 years and I can say that it is a great place to work. I was there before the Geek Squad came about, and that had to be the most fun I have ever had at work. Geek Squad changed things a lot however. It became more about making $$ than helping the customer. But like I said, if you have good management you should be able to find a happy medium.
