Funny, I thought I asked you a question and not the Democratic party.
Do you consider a male who labels himself a female as a female simply because he labeled himself so? Just to be clear, I'm asking you.
I'm genetics terms, no. But gender identity isn't a genetic property. When someone holds themselves out as a particular identity I have no reason to challenge it unless there is some legal or other concern or to correct a factually wrong statement ( like claiming to be a woman and pregnant when you don't possess ya uterus). Case in point, Barack Obama says he's a Christian so I have no reason to go birther and consider him to be Muslim. If Bernie is saying he's a Democract and running for the party nomination, then I'll take him at his word that he's a Democrat.
