If they want to be smart he should give an endorsement to whom he perceives as the best chance in an effort to calm the Bernie bros. as if he trusts that his endorsement will act just as he would.
That didn't work so well for Hillary. I have Bernie Bros in my extended family. Hardcore Bernie train until he lost and then went full retard Trump train. I pointed out that their actual hero Bernie quite clearly stated that Hillary would be way better than any GOP candidate and especially better than Trump and you could smell the short-circuited wires in their brains for miles. Curiously haven't heard much from then since.

Well, hopefully all the Bernie or bust bros learned their lesson last time around.

Honestly hoping the best for you guys to win.

Except Harris. Hate that bitch.

Bernie bros still bother me with their childish reasoning. I know a guy who put something to the effect as
“Bernie is leading it’s today it’s time to start backing a candidate to oppose what we have now”
This was a day or two after Joe joined the race, like 2 hours after he posted that on Facebook polling showed Biden ahead of Bernie. Not a peep from him.
Guys he knows we’re like yup it’s the end of the day, Biden is in the lead how are you going to help out?

Bernie most definitely is not the most unifying, in fact a study was shown that he was the most partisan of all senators.

2016

I believe there is one for 2019 as well where he tops the list.
Which is why there were Turmp supporters that could unironically claim they were Bernie Bros at one point, because they both were saying pretty radical things. Granted they were apparently too stupid to notice the differences (Turmp being all bluster and the evidence pointing to him replacing typical political corruption with far worse forms).

I seem to recall some people rationalizing voting for Turmp (or supporting him at least) by claiming they felt he would reduce the divisiveness in this country that supposedly they somehow laid at Obama's feet. Which is insane, but then not any worse than all the people rationalizing Turmp support for the various things they somehow bought him claiming (bestest health care ever! economic warfare that the US would win without any strife!). They were the ones dismissing his general behavior and saying "let's wait and see how he is as President" because they refused to listen to people saying that's just how he is at all times (a ridiculously petty manchild that holds grudges and hurls grade school insults and throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way).

I know some people, including on this forum, believed that Trump was a secret Democrat and was going to show his true colors after he was worn in.

I like the guy, but he _is_ just too old.

Though, dammit, almost everybody is. I'm sure people used to be younger in the old days.

Why are our leaders in their 70s.
Makes no damned sense

Trump
Hillary
Bernie
Biden

All too old. I don't care how "with it" you are when you win the election, at 70+, each year after that can be like adding dog years. You can decline mentally and physically VERY quick, especially when under the stress and workload that comes with the presidency. While you must be 35 to become president, there should be an age limit as well - max 70 at the time of oath. The problem with that is anyone trying to install that age restriction will never get the white hairs to vote for them/their party.

"Bernie Bros" were actually one of the many parts of the Russian Troll farm. They weren't Bernie supporters, just divisive anti-Hillary trolls that existed to create all sorts of manufactured chaos.

and yes, this has been confirmed.

So, no--it won't matter what Bernie does for them, because they never actually existed as a real voting block. Obviously if they re-emerge as an online presence again, their comments will be as honest about supporting Bernie in 2020 as they were in 2016.

This is the last or next to last hurrah for the boomers.
Good, bad or indifferent most will be too old in 8 years.

I know Russians amplified the movement but I know plenty of actual Bros IRL.

As I said, he is the most partisan in policy. I feel he might be the most unifying in temperament. I think Trump is proving how important temperament is to this discussion.

Yes, with most of these things, there became real life devotees, but it seems that most if not all in these movements really came into being after discovering an online community that solidified an idea. ...never mind that this community was fake all along.

Yes, her to an extent as well although for whatever reason people don't seem to really care about her age despite her only being 6 years younger than Biden.

It would be nice if we could default to electing people under 60 though, yes.
Probably because she looks a bit younger. She's 70 but passes for 60. And she's definitely with it mentally. She just doesn't seem old. That could change over 4 or 8 years in office, however.

That didn't work in 2016. Might be different today.

Right, who wants people with political experience. I much prefer somebody like Trump who brings a fresh and novel approach just so long as it isn't Socialism from an old man shouting at clouds.

Probably the biggest problem in politics, as far as I can see, are voters.
People who don't know you will not recognize the sarcasm ;)

You didn't have Bernie bros in your family you had retards. 10.8 million voters who supported Bernie in the Primary went out and voted for Clinton. btw that was a larger percentage of Bernie primaries voters who voted for Hillary in 2016 than her primary voters who (as a percentage) went and voted for President Obama in 2008....

The term Bernie Bro AFAIK is used to describe Bernie voters who did not vote for Hillary. Everyone else would just be known as a Bernie supporter or advocate.

My suspicion, sadly, is that's because the point of view I feigned is out there for real.

I don't say shit like that to family or friends. Not even Trump-humpers I know IRL. That's just my private thoughts on the matter that I anonymously share with all of you. You guys can handle the truth.

Yes, well I can, but that requires me to tell you you have a bad attitude based on the false idea those idiots are to blame for their stupidity. It is irrational to blame a programmed machine for following its program. Better to grease the gears so the lack of friction causes it to fly apart. Welcome to the Hotel California...... Remember, we are what they are. We create what we see and see what we believe. To let go, to surrender, to face meaninglessness, to realize one's own helplessness is to love.

Again though, it is not so much about assigning blame. It is about giving them what they want until they can't deny what they want is bad.
