OP said he makes $2700 net per month
Exactly. I have over $15,000 per month in expenses in just five areas: house, car, kid's school, taxes, and health insurance. Once you add in all our other expenses, it becomes obscene.
Pls stahp.I took a joke and somehow turned it into a serious comment about people's overspending .
Pls stahp.
Pls.
jelly bro.
Hey bro, the fries are done...get off your pay as you go phone and get those bitches salted.
I'm so glad I do shit like check the mail everyday... and not get buried in debt...
Drop a $2k-3K house payment and another $1K for vehicle payments; $500/month for insurance and a $2-3K month for a childs' tuition (college or private school) and it starts adding up. That does not even include social expenses.
One must keep up with the Jones
QFT, plus a nominal retirement savings and if you are supporting a family even at $100k can put people just outside paycheck to paycheck.

If you don't show up for court, yes you can get a warrant on you. Trust me, the last thing you want to do is blow off the matter and hope it goes away.
Edit: From experience, I know people can go to jail over civil debt. I work for a collection agency that also has a law firm.
Best post combination ever! Eagle's mocking people who choose to budget exactly paycheck to paycheck, and Alky's saying that's the standard way of life. Interesting snapshot of different views on finances in America.
Damn, I'm Jelly. Cardiologist? Neurosurgeon? Fortune 500 CEO? Rockefeller? Walton?
Seriously, you got a dell dude?
.
Go to sperm bank to make money.
Drastic times call for drastic measures.
meh. don't knock dell. they aren't bad machines for most people.
I got my dad one about 6 years ago. it was perfect for what he does. he replaced it last summer. they didn't cost more then $500 each.
If all you do is check email, browse the internet, listen to music etc they are great.
Dell is all I will let my mom buy.
Their warranty is second to none. Pay the extra whatever for the US based service and its a perfect old person computer.
You check the mail? All by yourself????
Where is the lol? Never was beyond my means at that time. It was approaching it not by my choice but I adapted and figured it out.
Perhaps using cinder blocks as jack stands is equally funny to you.
I only read the first few posts of that thread, but not by choice? Wasn't it your choice to BUY that house?
