looks to me like LSU has quit
Quit? The defense has been on the field the whole game.
just shows you how powerful ESPN is in comparison to cable and satellite providers who carry them.but cable for an NC game? that's absolutely disgraceful. wtf dropped the ball on this one?
Yet another reason why people don't give dick about the BCS
Just a question for anyone who has paid attention to what LSU has done this season...
Is this game so boring because it shows us just how dominant the defenses are? I mean look LSU put up 40 on Oregon (Rose Bowl winner) and 47 on West Virginia (Orange Bowl winner). They dropped 45 on Auburn and 41 on Arkansas.
It's not hard to look at these numbers, inside and outside of conference play, and then at the previous LSU/Bama game, and figure out that these two teams are just loaded on defense. I know it's boring to the vast majority but that definitely doesn't mean the teams suck.
I would not consider this game boring at all (I do not follow LSU and did not watch their first matchup). This is quite a whoopin' by Alabama, and deservedly so by the horrible performance of LSU offense. Great game so far.
And now all I am going to hear on sports radio will be people arguing all the freaking time about the BCS. Just put in some sort of playoff system already so I can stop hearing it!
It's over, LSU will never overcome this point deficit.
The truth is that sometimes a team wins all their games with skill and good luck, but may not be the best team that year. LSU has proven that this year.
Another 3 and out offense series for LSU, and Jefferson is still the QB. Shut out here we come.
Have you even looked at their schedule and the results of those games (other than round 1 of this matchup)? No, it's not luck as you're trying to make it out to be.

So, how are teams supposed to win? I think skill and good luck covers most of it
