Because the venue being an advantage is pretty much a myth and the line is basically being set by the way the money is falling. Plus many people look well beyond polls. Anyone who watched the first game knows that Bama outplayed LSU and probably should have won.

QFT If 'Bama could have made some field goals they would have and, like you said, should have won the game. Then Alabama would have been playing OKST and not LSU for the title and there wouldn't be such a controversy over who should be playing in the title game. But, Alabama lost, and it's almost like the BCS rewarded them for being the team that should have won, instead of playing fair and letting the next best team (OKST) play for the title. The BCS is too full of politics. Look how ESPN fought for this rematch BS. Of course I still think 'Bama is the better team, but this reeks just like when Oklahoma got to play for the title after losing their conference championship.

Why the flock is Lacy subbing for Richardson in the red zone Saban? So stupid. It should be 21-0 with 3 TD's for Richardson.

Same old J. Jefferson, clueless deer in the headlight. Dear Santa, please send us a decent QB stat. Hopefully, the transfer Jr. transfer QB will be a decent one next year.

Zzzzz.

Granted it seems like LSU has no issues scoring on anyone else so I guess that means both defenses are definitely good.

At the SEC Championship game, LSU did NOT have a single first down for the whole first half and had more yards in penalties than earned yards.

ESPN has commercials too. lol

The commercials want to break up on me, dammit, LOL. But yes I'm watching ESPN streaming online. The only reason I have basic cable (which doesn't include ESPN) is because my local provider charges an additional $15 per month for Internet service if you're not a cable TV subscriber. So I get basic cable, which is almost that now, and I'm not going to pay them $59.99 for expanded basic, which gives you ~96 channels of crap, or even more for anything better.

wow they scored a whole 3 pts, both teams, for the first half. Color me bored. Shitty teams with shitty quarterbacks.

This is how the first game went down, except Alabama is making most of their field goals. It's really too bad they didn't win the regular season game. That said I don't think they would have put up enough points to beat OKST.

OK, and there are two halves to a game, right? How did that one turn out again?

Shitty teams? Take a look at LSU's resume against everyone but Bama this year and come on back to the thread.

I'm willing to bet if OSU had the chance they would whip both LSU and Ala. the way both of these teams are playing tonite.

Man LSU offense is looking like a fish out of water :( LSU better be thanking their defense or this would be beyond a blowout

You know that if GA did not shoot themselves in the foot in that game SEVERAL times, LSU would lose big time. The defense and special team rised and saved the game for LSU.

As a matter of fact, if LSU defense and special team did not play well all year, LSU would not be where it at now. Everyone knows this <silverpig voice>. If LSU defense did not play well tonight, the score would be 28-0 now.

Look at the first series of the 2nd half, what happended? Jefferson ran and got sacked, 3 and out, again, same old JJ and LSU offense.

Just a question for anyone who has paid attention to what LSU has done this season...

Is this game so boring because it shows us just how dominant the defenses are? I mean look LSU put up 40 on Oregon (Rose Bowl winner) and 47 on West Virginia (Orange Bowl winner). They dropped 45 on Auburn and 41 on Arkansas.

It's not hard to look at these numbers, inside and outside of conference play, and then at the previous LSU/Bama game, and figure out that these two teams are just loaded on defense. I know it's boring to the vast majority but that definitely doesn't mean the teams suck.
