Nothing in stock at the two I checked... I may swing by one more but with gas prices as they are I am rapidly eating into my savings.

I just picked up a copy at the North Parkway Staples in Huntsville, Alabama. CD version and not the DVD version (unfortunately), but still a hot deal. They still had a couple of copies on the shelf.

*grumble you have better have left me one grumble*

probably stop by the one on 72 later today... thanks OP

*edit* Picked up the last one on Friday from South Parkway.... someone bought the last one ^ from north parkway.

I just picked one up at my local Staples. But the box says I need a FX5700 or later video card. Guess I'll be waiting a while to play this.

Great deal if you can find it.

Just a note to those that may have missed out on this deal, EA has announced a BF2 Deluxe Edition that will have regular and the special forces expansion. EB Games has it priced at $49.99, so you can expect a few more discounts on BF2 in the next month. Be on the look out.

Just picked up one at the Staples in Rolla, Missouri Tuesday morning at 10AM.... there was one more left if anyone is in the area....

2 copies left at Hyde Park, Cincinnati

edit: GONE!

It seems that ALL EA GAMES are on either clearance or sale!

NFS:MW, Battlefield 1942, Some Harry Potter Games, Some Sims games, all on clearance. A few of the Sims titles were only on sale (about 10 bucks off), though.

Does Staples put clearance software in a special place? I've never seen any software in the clearance section of the Staples that I regularly go to.

Thump - In my experience, the software is usually right with all the other software and UNMARKED as clearance. Sometimes value software that is clearance makes it to the "clearance table", but the titles in this thread will probably be found on the regular software shelf, still marked at full price.

If any are still available, I highly recommend this game.

I'm not usually a FPS fan, but this game is great, according to my battletracker stats I've sunk 200+ hours into it.

I picked up the only two available. The cashier said, "$20?! I bought this for $70 last year."

On another note, anyone want to buy BF2 for $30? 😛

Got mine in Danvers, MA Staples... last one, for $19.90.

If anyone wants, I can scan the package (not yet opened) and/or receipt... I'm always happy to help anyone use these for pricematching at other stores...
