Just got the game, put a little bit of time into it.
I'm kind of ...meh.
It's clear they're
VERY proud of the Batmobile. But it feels so forced down your throat. I'm still just starting out, but I don't particularly enjoy the segments, and if I had the option to simply glide/grappel everywhere I'd much rather do that.
The Batmobile also seems like a way to make the story even zanier and less believable (is that a thing for these games?) than before. I can appreciate the inherent comic-book "turn off brain--watch things go boom" factor that must accompany games like this. But really? "Batman, I'm counting
six unmanned tanks [with rocket launchers] headed your way!"

Really? Did a 9 year old write this stuff at recess? I sort of appreciated the old "Oh crap, there's a few guys with machine guns around the corner! Better be careful" elements of the previous entries. Now it's "Oh great...another half dozen
ROCKET TANKS coming my way...*sigh/...and I'm already running late..."
I'll hold off judgement really until at least a few more hours in, but I'm not blown away to start off.
