Marriage is between an man and women. Theres nothing wrong with same sex couples having the same rights as us...but marraige isn't a right. I live next to a same sex couple and I don't care at all, but the government shouldn't make those decisions. The people should, which is what happened.
Why isn't marriage a right? Because some religions decided that it's wrong for people to be gay? Marriage isn't a religious issue-- it's a state issue. I plan on getting married some day, but at a courthouse, not a church. What I plan on doing is still considered marriage, even without the religious aspect. It just doesn't make sense.
Heh, and people say that marriage should be about love, not sex. Apparently, it's all about sex.
